Will purchase again; helped my cat a lot.
I have an 8 year old cat that has always been pretty shy & timid. He’s a sweet little guy, but got stressed out easily. He started over cleaning himself & looked like he had a mohawk from losing fur on his underside. So, I bought this & it was delivered on Jan 19, 2021 & today is Feb 16, 2021. It’s worked like a charm. He’s getting his fur all back in & seems a lot calmer. I’m really glad I tried this out. I will say that when it first came, the collar smelled fantastic. I can’t really smell it anymore tho, so not sure the benefits stay the same as it ages. But it came in a set of 3 (6 months supply), which I was pleased with. I paired it with a soft cone (doughnut), when needed & plan to continue. Thanks for a great product.

Lessens the rampages
Our oldest cat is named Bast**d, for good reason. Abandoned as a kitten, with a bad dog rolemodel, he has anxiety and pica and is prone to going on rampages around the house. Rampages include: picking on the other two cats, eating chincilla hay, puking up chinchilla hay, howling about how his tummy hurts from chinchilla hay, crunching plastic, opening and thudding cupboard doors all night long, stomping on my head in the middle of the night, smacking my husband’s arm when we are on time with meals, smacking the dog for existing…and lately breaking the other cats’ dishes at 4:30am because I figured out he knows how to open the dry food bin to sit inside it and eat to his heart’s content and so I fixed the bin and cut him off.
These collars don’t stop Bast**d from embodying his name, but they lessen it to a tolerable level. Without the collars he hates the other animals and wants to eat them at all times and the pica raises to a possibly suicidal level. With the collars he at least sits and makes little cute fangy smiles of “contrition” when caught being bad and snuggles with the other cats sometimes.
We know the collar effect is wearing off if he starts fights or ups the antics; sometimes we have to change them a little before the 60 days because his inner angst raises for some reason (such as being cut off from the all he can eat food bin). So the affordable price is a win there. The first day the smell is pretty noticable and we call him “Grandma Cat” and he’s kinda dopey/sleepy, otherwise it’s only noticable when he’s sitting on my head because I’m late feeding him. I enjoy the little tins; they keep the collars fresh for months in the drawer but I also take off the labels and repurpose them for all sorts of stuff.
The material is a more rubbery soft type then the fancy name brand. This is GREAT because it is so much easier to put the collar on him instead of fighting with stiff plastic and an unforgiving buckle. No more choking him trying to wrestle the collar on. And the excess trimming is easier, so I worry less about the scissors slipping and chopping an ear off. Plus the blue is very nice with his black fur and he looks quite dapper as he godzillas around the house.

Long Story but hopefully it helps
Okay I have 4 cats so I got the 4 pack (1 for each of them ) and this is how it went:
Cat 1: he is very old and started spraying everything like crazy and we tried everything else to help so we gave these a try. He accepted and wore the color very nicely he didn’t spray for a few days after we put it on. Ultimately it reduced his spraying to 1/10 of what he was doing before so I would say this was a massive success for him. It has worn out now but I plan to get more for him
Cat 2: very shy scaredy cat who doesn’t like visitors and usually hides. We gave him one to help with that social anxiety. He surprisingly didn’t mind the color either and this color helped so much that he actually started coming down stairs when we had friends over for dungeons and dragons. Now that it has worn off he is back to his hiding ways but no where near as bad as he was. I will also be getting him more as well
Cat 3 : she has feline herpes and easily gets allergies because of her smooth face she is prone to being extremely stressed at the smallest things and has poor eye sight. She preferred endless cuddles and naps and not playing with the other cats. We gave her a collar in hopes that it would help calm her and clear up her acne and eye goopies and generally improve her happiness. Sadly we noticed no changes in her behaviors or stress side effects at all with the collar and I don’t think this was a good choice for her or this situation but it never hurts to try!
Cat 4 : social and loving but recently has been threatened by cat 1 everytime he is near by for no apparent reason and thought this could help the situation between them, unfortunately he detested these collars so much I didn’t leave it on him for more than a day and can’t provide any results for him with the collars.
Point is. These collars can and may help you and your cat and you should give them a try, but every cat and situation is different so don’t be too disappointed if they don’t work out for you.
Also these collars do have a potent smell in my opinion, but I think they smell very nice so this didn’t bother me at all,but for those of you sensitive to perfumes this may be a bit much for you.

1st Order-Great! 2nd Order-Horrible Scent!
I first bought these almost year ago and the lavender smell was so nice. My less anxious cat did not take to the collar, but the more anxious cat truly did calm down and became more relaxed. Unfortunately, when I made a second purchase about six months ago, the scent was overwhelmingly NOT Lavender. Sadly, these collars were not the same quality as the previous order. Both of my cats were definitely put-off by the horrible smell (so was our family!). I really hoped to keep using these collars but sadly was disappointed. Going to look for other options for my skittish kitties.

My 8 year old cat was very stressed out when we got a new kitten. I had ordered the calming collars ahead of time. Within a few hours if putting a calming collar on my older cat, he was much more settled. It had a positive effect for about 3 months and now even without a collar things are going well
