Effective product for aquarium hobbyist.
Great and effective way to change aquarium water and replace. Controlled water from going all over the place, no spills. Easy to prime hose by pressing on bulb to drain. Sucks up debris from gravel efficiently cleaning it.

Good for 10+ gallon tanks, won’t work for anything less than that.
The product works well for my larger fish tanks but not so great for the smaller ones that are 10 gallons or less. It was easy to assemble and does not leak but it can be difficult to get water out of the tube once it is in there. So after a cleaning you may just have some nasty water sitting in the tube until next cleaning. It picks up sand well so in my tank that had sand substrate it would pick up that but not the waste because the fish waste was larger than the sand. It’s a bit difficult to clean but other than that I have no real problems with it. I would say if you have smaller fish that are not major waste producers and if you are okay losing a bit of the sand substrate (if you have sand) then this product is worth it and good for a beginner fish tank owner/keeper. But I would advise against getting it for smaller tanks because it will not work as well and may not work at all.

I used mine for the first time today to clean my fish tank. It done exactly what I needed it to do. Speed of the flow is manageable. I’m new to owning fish but this was very easy to use and works great. Way cheaper than the pet stores and aquatic shops around me. It seems to be made of good quality material. I ordered the 5 foot hose because I have a small tank. It is plenty big enough for what I need!
