Wrong parts, horrible manual, and ghosted by seller
To start off we sent the original tank back for replacement because it came with parts that belonged to the 3 gallon and the 10 gallon tanks. We bought the 6 gallon tank. The replacement tank came and we had the same issues. On top of this the manual that comes with it does not give proper installation details. When I reached out to the seller they never responded to my request for a manual that describes how to install it correctly or at least a video. I would not recommend this tank to anyone. I loved the idea of the tank but it’s not worth buying. Don’t waste your time on this product.

    Mainly good
It was hard to put together. Instructions were in Chinese; some parts we could never figure out where they went; and some didn’t match up the way they were supposed to and that’s with watching YouTube videos. Besides that it works great

    Replace pumps every 3-5 months!?!
Okay, so I just got this tank today and my first problem is that it feels like the only glass possibly on this thing might be the base. The rest sounds, acts and feels like acrylic to me! Super light too.Second, like others have said, this was pretty confusing to put together and not all pieces (like suction cups) are even there and the tubing came out together so weird it was hard to figure out what went where.Third, it came with two pumps which seems odd EXCEPT right there in the manual they recommend replacing the pump every 3-5 months!? Well that seems nuts for a $100, 6 GALLON tank.So out of curiosity I went looking all over for the replacement pumps.. on the bluecoco store even. Very hard to find but finally did and they are $16 a pop. For that this should be like a $40 tank.

    Not recommended
Parts did not seem to go with the pump and fit appropriately. Overpriced plastic that seemed to easily catch fish borne diseases. The filter never seemed to work right and instructions were for multiple tanks

    Good Beginner Tank, I think?
I bought this tank for my desk at work, so it was the perfect size at 6 gallons. I intended to have a betta and a few shrimp, some snails.Pros: The tank itself is great. It’s a good size. That it doesn’t have a feeding hatch is minor. The thermometer is nice, too. I have not needed a heater yet, but there is room to run one in if it comes to it.Annoyances: You have to scroll through the light colors to get to white every time you turn it on. It doesn’t stay on the color you left it on when you turn it off then back on in the morning. Second, the clock is decorative. You cannot time the lights to automatically turn off and on, which would explain why there is a clock on the tank.Cons: The pump is a POS. The air tube ALWAYS comes unattached over the weekend and it is a whole effort to get it back on, the long suction piece pops off every time I did it… I swapped the dang thing out for the one you see in the pictures. Plus, it is only sucking up large particles and doing nothing for water quality. The sponge filter? Nice concept, but I added a mesh bag with a 50/50 mix of Fluval Zeo-Carb and aquatic peat to actually control things like ammonia and ph.In short, it is a great tank if you want a small tank, but be prepared to modify.Edit 8/21/2024: This unit DOES have a timer for the light but you have to button mash to get it to come up. I have no idea how I did it, I was trying to set the clock after a power outage and it gave me an ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ option so I set it. Godspeed on getting it to work, but it is there somehow.
