Very Happy Degus! But A Few Concerns… Also, Treats, Not Toys
ITEM: Finymk 6 Pcs Rabbit Toys Guinea Pig ToysCOMMENTS: I received a larger pack than what was listed – I’m not sure if this was a mistake or if when I requested the item it was a larger pack.PROS:- These are HEAVILY degu approved. When I gave my mother-daughter pair one each, I have never seen them so enthralled with a treat. They absolutely refused to give them up and demolished them near immediately.- They are really cute! I love the coloring and molding.- These are well-pressed. They did not crumble, had no soft spots, no discoloration or evident clumping within them.NEUTRALS:- None.CONS:- There is no ingredient list I can find, which is very concerning when considering a pet consumable. This is especially important for exotics that may have dietary concerns – such as degus being prone to diabetes. They appear to be a timothy hay press with a sweet binder.- These are advertised as toys, but really aren’t. They are a treat chew. For some ungodly reason they state that these can be cleaned and are dishwasher safe… which is utterly ridiculous.PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: (All of my packages are sent with Prime Delivery Day and manufacturer’s packaging preference selected. This may impact how things are shipped and cause my packaging experience to differ from yours.) They came in Amazon shipping packaging (a padded envelope in my case), with the treats in a heavy, clear plastic vacuum sealed bag. No branded or other information was included at all. I would say they are directly giftable with giftwrap being optional.WOULD I PURCHASE?: Maybe. At $9.99 it’s an okay deal, but they were consumed quick and I definitely have ingredient concerns – especially in terms of sugar content. The degus liked them a little *too* much.CONCLUSION: These are really attractive and well pressed/molded chew treats, NOT toys. (Do not attempt to wash them like the page states). I have some significant concerns about the ingredients – which I could not locate on the sales page and were not included – due to degus being diabetes prone and them likely having a high sugar content. That said, the degus were absolutely mad about them and refused to give them up and finished one each in one sitting (hence my suspicion of the sugar content). Parent suspicious, degu recommended.DISCLAIMER: I write completely honest reviews from actual use of the products, with pertinent information that I desire from reviews, in the same way that I would by purchasing them directly (including considering satisfaction from a cost standpoint). I do not condone falsifying reviews by reviewing without using/testing or minimizing/ignoring neutrals or cons about the product. My reviews are updated without removing the original review if new information is discovered or if durability/use impacts the product down the road.My rating system is: 5 = no/minimal complaints, very pleased 4 = minor complaints, overall satisfied, but could be better 3 = notable complaints, overall average to ‘meh’ 2 = significant complaints, unhappy and will not keep/use 1 = entirely complaints, misleading descriptions, straight to the trash product.

    Rabbit toys
I have a picky rabbit. Boy is he picky. He’s a rescue. Someone in my neighborhood released him to fend for himself and I captured him and have had him since. (For 3 years).I never had a rabbit before nor did I want one but after finding this guy living on his own fending for himself, I wanted to give him a good life to make up for what humans did for him.I also lucked out because he uses a litter box and doesn’t smell like a rabbit. (That’s one of the reasons why I never got a rabbit is because of the smell).Well, that and because I’m allergic so there’s that. This guy, named Cocoa by the neighbor’s son that found him, is living the good life.We call him Poo Poo Bunny. He provides us with a never ending amount of fertilizer pellets. He has a cage that he is in when we’re not home and at night and I try to let him run around as much as possible during the day when we’re home. When I am home but can’t watch him closely, I’ll set up a large pen in my living room that he can run in and get exercise but not get into trouble.I provide him with enrichment activities. He has his litter box, food and water set up.I have a box so he can forage for treats. He has toys and blocks and different area’s in the pen set up with different activities. Each day that he’s in the pen, I have it set up differently so he doesn’t get bored.I make toys for him as well as my parrots because they’re cheaper than buying already made up toys. Poo Poo Bunny likes to chew so I make sure to always provide something he can chew, rip apart & shred.Rabbits have the issue with teeth. Their teeth can get overgrown if not properly addressed.I always try to provide chew toys that help with that issue. Knock on wood, 3 years with no issues and no need for a vet visit? I must be doing something right.I did have him evaluated by a bunny rescue just to make sure he’s in good health and I check him daily for any ailments. I lucked out and found myself a happy, healthy & friendly bunny.I was worried he wouldn’t like these chew toys but as it turns out, he loves them. He’s fussy so it’s hit or miss with him.He actually loves these treat toys. Score.Definitely recommend.

Cute but rats could care less
These were super cute and I was excited to give them to our rats. However they were not impressed. They were cute and cheap. They do not have a smell and think maybe don’t have a particular taste …they are very small so I’d say for a gerbil hamster or rat I would not give to a bunny unless it’s a dwarf. Just worry about them eating them in one bite . Prolly won’t buy again
