Tuya 7L Automatic Feeder w/ WiFi and HD Camera: Awesome automatic 2-bowl feeder
This feeder is great! It goes together easily and the manual is good, but the automation is the best part. Physically, the bucket lid locks onto the bucket, and the bucket locks onto the feeder. The bowls and chute are captured in slots by the weight of the feeder. It should hold together against any animal that doesn’t tip it over or something. And you can remove the chute and use one bowl instead of two if you prefer, or adjust how much each bowl gets by sliding the chute.The automation features are where it really shines though. It has a custom app, but I already had the normal Tuya app and that worked perfectly. It was detected as a pet feeder, and paired up with no problems in both Android and iOS. Once paired, the camera is clear and crisp, the night vision is black and white but still super clear. The camera mount can be pointed either down to show the food chute and both bowls but not much else, or up to show most of the bowls and a bunch of the rest of the room. Scheduling in the app is straightforward, just pick a time and an amount. Manual feeding using the buttons on the app is just as simple. The camera even has an intercom mode to listen or talk to the animals, or record a message to play when food dispenses.There is also a software “privacy” button that turns off the cloud camera and microphone. I was able to get the camera working as a standard RTSP camera without using the cloud connection, and it works in Home Assistant’s localtuya integration with a little effort.

great setup outside of the lens not being wide enough
This was really easy to set up and my cats had no trouble using it immediately. the angle of the bowls is better as to not be as loud as other cheaper bowls when the food hits it. the angle on the camera sucks though! needs to be a wider lens, too zoomed in.

This feeder is great for a multi pet household, the camera is crystal clear and let’s you see the bowls nicely. The app was very simple to setup with the feeder and it works great. You can program to feed at set intervals or you can manually feed remotely with selectable portions. This is a very nice thing to have when you need to be away from your pets but want to ensure they are cared for. Highly recommend for any pet owner.
