Great product!
I use this to take my african grey to the Vet. She can see whats going on so doesnt get all scared. But instead is curious to see whats happening as we drive there.

Decent carrier but what the heck with the door???
I bought this specifically for my Congo African gray to take him to the vet. While I like the design it was a pain in the ass to put together. The directions were right on the box and you do have to assemble it. I put it together a few times and had to take it apart a few times because I messed up with putting things in the right order. As soon as I put it together I looked at the door locking mechanism. That is pretty disappointing. And I was really upset with that. There should be better way to secure the carrier. Seriously. One knock can open the door immediately. So I went to get some supplies and tried to design another way to secure the carrier. So this is what I came up with in the photos… it works and now I am confident that he will not get out. But seriously I think the carrier should have a better lock on it. I also replaced the perch that came with it, the diameter was too small for my greyâs feet so I put in a natural manzanita perch inside, looks much better… I like the design of the carrier but there is some serious flaws that need to be addressed with this product.
