Works well, has a lot of nice features, inexpensive
This carrier worked great for us. Our dog is about 18 inches long, almost too big for it, but this carrier has pop-out panels that unzip to expand, offering more room while waiting at airport, etc. I can’t imagine anything better for the price.Pics:Picture 1 shows the side pop-out extended so the dog can stretch out a bit more.Picture 2 shows top panel unzipped so dog can sit up and look around. There’s a tiny leash inside attached to the carrier with a clip that connects to the dog’s collar, so they can’t run away when the top is open.Picture 3 shows the carrier with end panels open.It really is an impressive engineering marvel, all the panels and zips. And it’s not difficult to figure out.It fit under the airplane seat just fine, but did stick out a little – not enough to complain about though.

Good carrier – beware âlike newâ claims
Love this carrier. Iâve had two of them for three years now and my cats are very comfortable in them. They have soft liners that are washable. The expander options make it more comfortable for my cats to ride in the car. Just beware – Iâve bought two âused – like newâ recently and will return them both because theyâre missing the shoulder strap.

I bought this for my 2 cats, the one in the carrier is an 11 lb 2 year old cat, the other one is not in the carrier but is around 7 lbs and 1 year old. I placed on the floor fully open to see if they would get in it and fit easily. I got this in case of a fire. Our 2 cats are feral and if there is a fire we needed a safe way to get them out to an area in a quick manner. They are both chipped but have been in the house near all their lives. So this item has more room than I thought. They both would fit easily without the sides down, yet with all the zip up compartments I can make a safe fire bag with ID, food and water in case of an emergency. Also will make a great alternative to the traditional hard cat carrier we use now for vet vists. The mesh seems as if would hold up to claws as it is pretty durable. I would recommend this item as the bottom has a hard plastic piece with small “feet” to keep it off the ground about an inch. Easy to carry and store.

Good travel carrier for dog
Bought a few weeks before to ensure a good fit & to get pet used to being in it. If traveling, this is a must, so pet isnât afraid to be in it.No problems getting on plane (spirit) with it & it fits under the seat. Not a ton of space left, but with a smaller dog (13lbs) she curled up & slept most of way. Top unzips so pet could pop her head out when carrying her. Thereâs not a tether to keep pet leashed to the bag, so just had her leashed separately. Pockets are a good size to keep treats, waste bags & a few other items handy. Carrying on the shoulder hurt a bit, but I guess that depends on person & weight of dog, along with how long youâll be carrying pet.All in all, a good purchase and, if I need to travel again, I can use again.Edit: the plastic carabiner broke on 1 side after a few uses. Thankfully, my pet was not injured, but on the lookout for a more sturdy carabiner replacement.

genuinely my favorite thing i’ve gotten from amazon
i love them so much, i originally got one to test it out but then got one for all my cats. one of my favorite parts is how it helped my cats feel comfortable in a carrier! this carrier with some feliway spray made vet visits much nicer. my cats used to meow so loudly for the trip and now they meow a few times or stop meowing after the first 1-2 minutes. i think the reason why this is nicer for them is because it’s soft and warm vs. hard and cold and it has greater visibility for them. it is also partially due to the feliway spray (which is great as well)while i was opening them up for the first time i was shocked by feature after feature. i don’t think you get a sense of how many features there are from the listing (or i did a bad job reading it) but here is everything listed out:1. tsa approved2. 4 expandable sides3. multiple ways of opening (side, top, and some on the expand mesh)4. waterproof and highly durable mesh (my cats’ claws can’t rip it and they have tried)5. 2 pockets on the outside6. reflective strips7. name tag8. strap to slip on a luggage handle9. bottom feet10. 2 normal handles with velcro in the middle and 1 detachable shoulder strap11. clip inside for collar12. folds completely flat for storage (i have 4 pictured and they are just above the size of a normal cat carrier)13. machine washable inserts and easy to wipe clean14. gray inserts are held down by velcro15. durable clasps, zippers, etci love this product so much, everytime i go to the vet i show the all vet technicians it

This is a great carrier whether you are taking your small pet to the vet or traveling cross country. We used this for both and it is awesome. The sides all lay out with mesh so that it gives more room and ventilation when needed. It has lots of pockets and is lightweight. I sent Precious, a 10 pound cat, from LAX to Louisville in it with a flight nanny and Precious was able to be in the cabin, with the nanny, in this carrier with no problems. She made the trip without any issues. Great product!

DO NOT BUY – My cat chewed through the side and escaped on the plane flight!
I liked these carriers at first, they were perfect for vet visits with our two cats. That changed though when we took the cats on a plane flight for the first time. The outer mesh is surprisingly flimsy, and one of our cats was able to chew through it easily and escaped into the plane aisle after takeoff!(The flight attendant told us they’d ground the flight if we were unable to contain the cat; luckily we grabbed her and were able to keep her inside by holding the mesh part closed for the rest of the flight.)The mesh material seems to be a kind of coated string, instead of something sturdier like wire or plastic. If your cat is feisty or you’re planning to fly with them for the first time, I’d recommend looking for a carrier with a stronger mesh – this carrier has a serious design flaw which could endanger your cat.
