Solid Camera with Good Image Quality
The video quality on this camera is excellentâeverything looks sharp, even in low-light conditions. I also appreciated that it comes with an SD card for storing events, especially since the company doesnât offer any free cloud storage unless you pay for a subscription.Setting up the device was a breeze. All I had to do was scan the QR code, download the app, create an account, and enter my WiFi password. The process was smooth and straightforward, which is a plus. Also, the pan and tilt angle are excellent, and I can view a wide area of my home. That being said, there were a couple of things that I didnât love. First, the app requires you to allow location access at least once during setup. While itâs not a major issue, itâs something to keep in mind if privacy is a concern for you. Another drawback is the lack of free cloud storage. Other cameras Iâve used at least offer a small amount of free storage, but this one doesnât. On the bright side, since it supports an SD card, itâs still a reasonable option for recording events, especially considering the price. The slot is located very near the lens of the camera, so you must set the camera first and then tilt it up in order to reach the slot.I also didnât appreciate how pushy the app was with upselling services during setup. While adjusting some settings, I unknowingly enabled a paid feature without any clear warning. Fortunately, Apple requires a double-click confirmation before completing purchases, which saved me from an unwanted charge. All in all, the camera delivers good video quality, making it a solid choice for indoor monitoring. However, if privacy settings and free cloud storage are important to you, this might not be the best option.

Good value & quality. Base functions work well, some require a paid subscription
Genuinely surprised with the function and value of this camera. The ability to move it all around, the infrared for visibility at night, is all pretty spectacular. The app that it functions on is sketchy, I can’t speak to it’s security but it does require quite a lot of permissions.Basic functions like the ability to capture video moments or pictures is great, with good quality and clarity. Some of the calibration efforts aren’t well programmed, it doesn’t know how to fully pan left or right it starts out panning right and looking down I believe. So if the camera is not it might not sweep all the way. A little bit of troubleshooting makes this a pretty decent camera. The app is clunky at best. The instructions are definitely translated to English as the grammar in some areas is confusing. Some of the features are of strange like detecting elderly. The alarm function on it isnt really an alarm. It for goes off for around 2 seconds, pause,s goes off for another 2 seconds, and then stops. Most of the features advertised are paid for subscription services. I didn’t see the value and any of their subscription services. The value is in the core function being able to move the camera and hear and speak through the camera from anywhere with an internet connection makes this a good entry level indoor camera/pet monitor.Without a paid subscription you can still view control the camera grab video and pictures and set alerts for “sports” and “human”. “Children, elderly, vehicle, & pet” require paid subscription. With that comes ‘unlimited’ cloud storage and ai surveillance. But they also have data refill ads, so I’m a little confused.Tldr, if you’re using the base functions this is a great camera. The app is a little weird but it’s all usable without the subscription.

Love it! It’s perfect for what I need it for
This camera has great video quality; even in low light, everything appears crisp. Since the company doesn’t provide free cloud storage unless you purchase a membership, I also valued that it came with an SD card for saving events. The equipment was easy to set up. I only needed to download the app, scan the QR code, set up an account, and input my WiFi password. One advantage is that the process was easy to understand and seamless. I can see a large portion of my house, and the tilt and pan angles are great.

It works, but it could be better
First impression is that the camera feels pretty cheap. It’s light and plasticky and top-heavy. It sits fine on a surface and appears to function fine, but I still feel it could use a bit of weight in the base. The plastic is rigid and thin, so I’d caution that a person should ensure to set this camera in a safe place with no movement. One fall off a table would probably damage it badly. The camera quality is fine. I don’t find it to be any better than other inexpensive cameras, but I’d say it’s a notch lower quality than a phone camera. Visual fidelity is good in strong light but decreases until night mode, which is also fine. The app is where I really don’t love this. It’s clunky at best. The ask for subscription services is too much for me, as it’s not a company I’m particularly familiar with. I understand that it costs money to host video, but I’d rather just have an app that downloads it to my phone or connected device. Also, digital hygiene suggests that a person should be careful what private spaces they’re allowing recording to occur. This makes me always lean towards more reputable brands.Overall I don’t hate the camera for what it is and what it does, so I can’t call it a negative review. It’s just not my first choice, especially at this value point.
