Appeared broken but was able to snap magnet back in place. Will continue testing….
When the weather warmed up enough to install this in my window, it appeared broken but I was able to snap magnet back in place at the bottom of the door with the trim that had come loose. I will continue testing it for my review. My cat is still getting used to it. After installation, I pushed him through it from the outside to the inside, and again later from inside to outside. He was startled by something later and tried to use the back door instead of this new cat door. I’m sure he’ll appreciate the “freer access” once he gets used to it. More updates on the review as we get more experience with it!

Oh my gosh, my cats and I LOVE this window. I already had a similar cat door window insert for a catio and wanted to add another one for a separate enclosure. I wish that I had found this one first. Looking similar to the other is the ONLY thing they have in common. This one is SO much nicer!! First, this one is bigger. This door came with 2 types of weather stripping (included extra). This has some type of magnetic pull beneath it around the door that brings it close more firmly. This cat door has four clearly labeled lock/unlock positions. It is hands down the cat door window insert that I would buy again or recommend!

Cat/dog door thatâs a life saver
I was able to install in a window without any struggle. Only problem Iâve had is getting our semi-feral cat to use it without it being propped open. He is using it and weâre still working on his not having to have it partially opened.

It’s positives and a few shortcomings
Well it was very well made but I had to return it. It was not quite wide enough and the door needs a magnetic latch so wind won’t blow it open. Otherwise, I wish I could have kept it. It was so very well made! Just did not meet my needs. It really is a fine product. I wish it was wider than I thought and the door blew open. Otherwise I reccomend.
