I bought this item for adult fun time. I can only say that it works exactly as it says it does. Its nice and soft as well as waterproof. I cant believe I caught it on sale. now I need 2 more (one for the dogs couch, and the extra bed for kids). I love this product and reccommend it to anyone wanting something to stay dry.

My cat for some reason gets in the mood to pee on a chair that’s covered in plastic. This product is SOOOOOO easy to wipe it over. No smell. I can wipe it with a rag, and wash in a machine. Love it!

Within an hour of me putting this on my bed, my cat decided to test it out. He pees on my bed occassionally when his kitty sister poos outside the litterbox. The liquid did not even absorb into the fabric…it beaded up and stayed that way….very easy clean up! This was the best investment! Its still new, so I don’t know how it will go long term, but so far so good!

lightweight furniture blanket or cover to protect from pet hair and liquids
The fabric is 100% polyester. It’s not very thick, it’s like 2 thick sheets sewn together. So if you use this on top of your regular bedding to protect it, it should not make you hot when under it like a thicker blanket would. It has an inner layer that is supposed to be water resistant. I think it will resist small spills, but if a large spill sits on it, it will soak into the blanket, but shouldn’t soak past it or very much. It does not make a plastic type noise. One side is a wrinkle pattern, and the other is a quilted chevron pattern. If you put it on a couch, it will slip off easily, so you do need to tuck it in or secure it in places so it does not slide off when you are sitting down or getting up. Great to cover up the bedding, over a couch, or use it in the car when traveling with pets, and you can use it for a blanket to sit on outside. Machine wash and tumble dry low. easy way to protect furniture and bedding from pets.

Is very very thin.
I have purchased several other ones and all of them are much thicker I would not purchase one of these again. I am concerned if my dog jumps up on the couch it will tear.
