Great pet supplement!
I read about this product on a blog I found when I was looking for a natural supplement for my 12 (almost 13) year old dog. I looked into it a bit and saw lots of great reviews, so I decided to get it for my pup.I also looked up each ingredient to see how it would help my pup and learned that pumpkin & flax seeds are great for a healthy skin and a shiny coat. It also includes, Spirulina which is great for keeping their immune systems strong. Garlic has many benefits and can lower Blood Cholesterol, prevent blood clots, and can help the liver get rid of toxins from the body. Burdock Root can help improve bladder and kidney health, and finally Nettle leaf can be helpful to dogs with seasonal allergies and provides a high iron content which can be beneficial to dogs with anemia. Overall, this was, in my opinion, a great product at a great price.I do however suggest that you always look up ingredients and make sure they are okay for your pet before purchasing a product. Also, be sure to weigh the pros and cons of any and all supplements before using them. if you’re unsure if a product will be safe for your pet, please consult a Veterinarian.

Healthy addition to wet food for cats
Our beautiful kitty Oscar gets 1/2 tsp of this Herbal Green Powder + 1/2 tsp Brewer’s Yeast in all his meals. He loves it and we feel good as we know it is helping to keep him healthy. He’s on his second bag! The ingredients are a powerful list of antioxidants, including flaxseed, spirulina, pumpkin seed, garlic, burdock root, and nettle leaf – all organic. (this product is for animal use only though, don’t try it!) Thank you Animal Essentials, thank you Amazon.

Balanced stomach
If your dog likes to graze the yard once in a while they will love this. Sometimes they just like grass, no stomach issues just need the nutrients! This smells amazing garlic and greens. Repeat purchase for us. Helps keep her regular

One dog doesn’t like it
My dog was having major tummy problems (chronic vomiting, constipation, and not eating) and after many different diets and about a thousand dollars in vet bills, I was willing to try anything to help him feel better. He was also trying to eat grass, so I figured maybe he needed something else (although I add vegetables to their food already). So when he was in a good period and eating well, I started adding this to his food. However, he wouldn’t eat it. If I mix in just a tiny bit, he will sniff it apprehensively and eat it, but I can’t add anywhere near what they recommend. And you can tell he really doesn’t like it. If I leave it out, he eats much more eagerly. We finally got his tummy problems straightened out (special diet and daily prescription), and I have been giving this to my other dog, who doesn’t care what is in her food and will eat anything. She doesn’t even notice this, so I guess it depends on the dog. I’m sure it is good for her and it is good to give her a little extra nutrition I guess, but I won’t bother buying this again.

It’s ok – but the dog I bought it for didn’t are for it…
Bought this as a recommendation from a blog I read where the blogger has their dog on this (and the dog also has CHF – Congestive Heart Failure). My two dogs ended up getting this in their meals as my other dog who has the CHF is a finicky eater (and I tell you – for a rescue and a dog who is not food aggressive, this really surprises me!) and didn’t seem to care for it much. Had to give it a try though! My other two dogs do eat it but they are both rather food aggressive (rescues as well) so I think they’d eat anything you put in front of them!

It really is a good product and lasts a long time too
This is the second time purchasing this product because I now see the benefits of giving this to my dog. The main thing I noticed was I no longer use a topical flea medicine and by using this we have NO fleas. He loves the taste and I know there are other benefits such as a stronger immune system from the antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It really is a good product and lasts a long time too.

My dogs wouldnât touch this product
I usually use animal Essentials probiotics without issue. But, my three dogs would have nothing to do with this herbal product. I put it in their food and after one stiff they left the food and I had to toss It out. Very strong smell – over powering actually. I tasted it and could see why the dogs wouldnât eat it. I wouldnât recommend and will stick with the regular probiotics.

Veggies for the Dog
I have my dog on a BARF (not what you think) diet (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food), which is a raw meat diet. Even though her food has some veggies in it already, the vet suggested I add this to Holly’s food. She gobbles up everything to the bottom of the bowl so it must taste all right to her. I have to add that she does like raw veggies anyway–eats tomatoes, lettuce only if it has olive oil on it, cucumbers, broccoli. Can I say that she is healthier because of this product? I have no way of measuring, but I can say that she’s a healthy 14-year-old Beagle. If nothing else, it serves as insurance that she’s getting better nutrition. This product can also be sprinkled on and mixed into dry or canned dog food.
