Good Food for Our Koi
Have been buying this for nearly 5 years, and our koi seem to love it. Have occasionally tried to feed them other brands but they refused each time, API Pond is definitely their favorite for sure. Quality seems to be good, fish are remaining healthy, water stays clearer for longer, and less effort is needed to clean up the pond. Great price for the amount of food you’re getting, and is definitely cheaper than what you would see in pet stores like Petco. A single bag usually lasts us around two months for 4 fish, so we definitely save by buying this brand. Also works well with different automatic feeders, the packaging is able to seal tightly, and the food inside stays dry for long periods of time.

This is a great product, but read the warning below
Warning: this is being sent in a plastic envelope and it appears that it smells really good, I came home to find the packaging ripped apart and 95% of the food eaten. So unless Amazon changes there shipping packaging, I would not recommend buying it through Amazon.

My fish like the larger size of food
They get some smaller pieces too, but they seem to find the larger ones first. Most of my fish are 3 to 4 inches long and I don’t know whether they are goldfish or koi, but they are about 4 years old now and very colorful. They seem to be thriving.

I don’t have a pond but this food keeps my 50 gallon tank clean and my big guys happy. Not sure how to handle how fast they’re growing but this food helps keep tank clean and nitrates down.
