It saved my fish’s life!
I’m not one to write reviews but after seeing the results of this product I felt obligated. My one angelfish had clamped fins and I didn’t wanna lose him. So I bought this product and put it in the tank as soon as I got it. I’m not kidding. Later that day when I went to feed my fish and turn the lights off. I noticed that it’s tail was a lot less clamped. Then in the morning it was completely normal and eating again. I’m so impressed by API General Cure and will be keeping this product stocked in my fish room. I’ve never seen such a quick turn around with any fish meds before like I’ve seen with this and believe me I’ve bought many different kinds in my 30+ years of raising fish. All you do is open the pouch and put into your tank. I know others have mentioned not to just put straight into your tank and I’m sorry they lost their fish but I poured mine right into the water and the fish thought it was food and were right under it. It fell on them and some were eating it and all mine are fine. It’s not harmful to your fish.

Literally more than half the face of my red devil was gone! All there was to see was BONES! His facial bone structure and nostrils! Even I was repulsed! I cleaned out the tank and brushed off and soaked the tank ornaments in very hot running water and cleaned out the filter thoroughly. I then put him in a huge bucket with fresh water, an oxygen pump inside with a splash of stress zyme, stress coat, fresh water salt and 1 packets of Erythromycin and then 2 packets of this general cure everyday. I changed the water completely and went through this process every day for over 10days! Finally I think he had had enough of the constant torture from the force of the running tap water over him every night. He became dizzy and went belly up back and fort. He was also pale(he didn’t eat anything throughout his treatment) so I put him back in his tank(119 gallons). He came back to life and activity immediately. His face is healing very nicely and new flesh has already begun regenerating on his face!

Effective
Two of my fish developed swim bladder disorder, for which there is no real cure or treatment. I do not know why the problem occurred–aquarium water conditions were fine. I tried different fish treatments & medications to alleviate the discomfort of the sick fish and to prevent the rest of the fish from becoming ill. I finally tried API General Cure and it helped! 6 weeks later the rest of my fish are still healthy. To my surprise, he two sick fish are still alive & swimming normal 90% of the time! (I think my fish do this just to drive me crazy with confusion.)

Saved my fish! Highly recommend for bacterial infections
I tried a lot of products and really thought I was going to lose my fish. I had almost given up all hope but saw this recommendation on a site and so glad I did! I followed the very easy directions, also used in combination with with epson salt like the article I read recommended. I did notice a loss of appetite and slight clouding of the water for a few days but it saved his life and cleared the infection and after about a week it was like he was never sick! So definitely worth it! I wonât even waste money on other products next time.
