Freeze dried crickets are a perfect source of protein for a variety of animals and reptiles, such as salamanders, small snakes, frogs, toads, rats, bats, shrews, mice and insect-eating birds.
Bearded dragons, lizards and iguanas are all insectivores, which means they’ll love our dried crickets all year round!
When it comes to pets who love crickets, reptiles are probably at the top of the list.
Dried crickets have the nutritional value of live crickets and are more convenient to feed. Our freeze-drying process ensures the preservation of all essential nutrients as well as increasing their shelf life.

My girls liked them
Was going to try to let them colonize. Did not work. But my chickens totally loved them

Blue tongue skink loves these!
Great! I recently wrote a review on this post for the wrong product and apologize. I had gotten a bad bag of crickets from another brand and mixed up the two review areas.

Strong Smell
No other insects I’ve purchased smell quite this strong. Its unpleasant for me, and while my rats will eat them, they also seem put off by the smell. The price is good, and I’m sure reptiles would be just fine with them, but they’re not great for us.

Ground Cricket anyone?
Bought these for use with some of our reptiles, and our bird feeders. Over half the bag is ground up and little more than dust. The bag also has a small hole in it, meaning that moisture was able to get in and a very bad smell came right back out. I wouldn’t recommend this, especially at the price.

My beardie loves these
We made the swap from live to dried bugs for my beardie and he really liked them!

good value, not so pleasant smell
These were a good value for my Bearded Dragon, however they just smell. There are a lot on the bag and i use them with warm water to feed to my dragon but the dried ones in the bag just have a funky smell. Not sure if this is what crickets smell like, im leaning towards no because i but the other name brand crickets and they don’t smell but for the cost of the other ones that’s why i tried these. My dragon doesn’t seem to care he still eats them so i guess they are ok.

My dragon like it.
He wouldn’t eat nothing but live bugs and and salad at first now he would eat pre packaged food thanks to the smell it has. Makes feeding easier!
