NEEDS RINSING
Great bunch of white gravel. I use it in my neocaridina shrimp tanks cuz I like how their color pops against it.HOWEVER, this stuff DOES come very cloudy. It says triple washed, but it’s still very cloud. I rinsed it quite a bit. There is also the occasional non-white stone, but less than 1%.

Beautiful
Normally I stick to natural white sand for my aqua-builds and aqua-scapes, however a specific need called for gravel. I needed gravel that’s white, angular (not rounded), and somewhat fine (larger than sand, but not giant hulking rock fragments). Options are severely limited, especially considering I refuse to use unnatural dyed garbage that is prevalent online and in stores. Overall I quite love this product. It’s high quality, natural, is packaged quite clean, is easy to rinse further, and looks very nice. The price was reasonable all things considered. The only complaint is that the bottom of the bag had quite a bit of finer material that was closer to a coarse sand than a fine gravel. Maybe I’m being picky, but I had a specific need, and expected slightly larger based on the advertisement, etc.

Expensive but Cute
I really liked the look of this white gravel. It goes great with the decor in the tank. It is expensive though, considering I can get pea gravel for a fraction of the cost. But i really wanted this color so I went ahead and got it.Just like the other reviews say, wash it a few times before adding it. And with anything white, you will see any little dirt or debris in the tank, but that van be good or bad, however you choose to look at it. I like being able to see the snails against the white, as they blend in with the natural colored gravel in my other tank.Overall, I really like it!

Rinsed forever
Rinsed several times thought it was good put it in my aquarium and water was still cloudy from debris. I even used a purified water to rinse after tap water still cloudy.
Joyful in Texas –
Wash thoroughly and with bleach.
Washed the rock thoroughly, but it grew mold soon after being placed in the aquarium.

Extra nice it’s natural rock. It’s got some other-color stones mixed in; I thought I’d leave them but then realized they distracted me and I’d be looking at them first to see if there was an issue to deal with in the tank [because there are so few “not white”]. I see other reviewers had taken the colored ones out; believe me, it’s a lot easier to decide that BEFORE you put them in a tank ON THE FLOOR and put water in ;-)For the next tank, I’ve already taken the colored ones out after sorting in a bowl. Again, not because they are unsightly, but it would distract me from looking at my live-inhabitants first because I might think a dark gravel was transferred from another tank and needed to be removed or a snail was dead or something. My picture shows how few other-colors there are if you want them out. Main thing is I a, very happy with my choice and will do the same in other tanks!
