Subtle and beautiful
I put this in a UNS 45S rimless aquarium, which has a base similar to a typical 10 gallon tank, and it easily gave an inch of coverage with one bag. I only bought one since I was fine with shallow substrate in an epiphyte only scape but it went much further than I expected.Pros: The color is gorgeous. It’s a crystal white with flecks of dark green. I was afraid the color chips would make it look dirty from a distance but they don’t at all. I didn’t rinse it before putting it in because (I’m lazy) this tank is a new setup with no occupants. There was very little cloudiness when I dumped a bunch of water on it. It was roughly the same as gravel you’ve washed four times that is somehow still dusty. The little sponge filter had no problem clearing it overnight. There were no floating grains that I could see, and it sinks quickly when I’ve stirred it up since then. It was a bit of a splurge but as a statement in a nano tank it’s perfect.Cons: The cost is a bit of a drawback for me. Personally I’ll have to stick to smaller tanks for fancy sand.

Beautiful Natural Sand
My fish love this sand and so do I! Itâs gorgeous and light, and my Goldies stand out against it. The subtle green adds texture to the pale colored sand which is a nice touch. I didnât need to wash it and it didnât cloud the tank when combining with the water.

Outstanding Substrate – No Cleaning Needed
This is a quality pack of fine Iwagumi sand for a great price. From my experience, the sand has no large rocks or unwanted debris, and it doesn’t require a wash, as the silt quickly settles and isn’t an issue.
