Perfect small tank heater
Really happy with this heater for our new (~3 gallon) beta aquarium! Our fish played around it and would perch on top as it heated the water up. He has been a lot more lively since installing it. I like the light that indicates itâs working. We did our first water change today and unplugged the heater 10 minutes before exposing it to air (per the notes on the Amazon listing) and we had no issues. The suction cup works great, even on our curved tank wall. The temperature tape works fine, I wouldnât trust it as a true reading of the water temp, but itâs enough to show improvement. Our heater did not come with any instructions, so I had to revisit the Amazon listing to ensure proper use and placement, but all in all, a great value for a small tank!

Works Good for 5 Gallon Tank
I didn’t have a fish tank heater before I bought this one and for our 5 gallon tank it’s done a pretty good job! It’s not too big or bulky so you don’t really see it. It comes with a temperature sticker and it usually only keeps the tank about 76 degrees. It sticks to the plastic tank walls well and has 0 noise. Over all it was a good purchase for the price and our beta fish is happy.

Does the job
Ordered this for my new betta, Sully. I had a heater before I bought this one that didn’t keep the water at a consistent temperature. I decided to buy a different heater, and this one is great! It was cheaper and smaller, too. My only complaint is the suction cup wouldn’t stick to the bottom of the tank which I wanted it to so I could bury it in the substrate. The heat does stay at a consistent temperature which I am very happy about. I love it! My betta will even swim up to it if he wants to be extra warm.

Worth it for the money
Works pretty good for the money! You simply place it in the tank, plug it in, and raised the water to its pre-set temperature. You canât adjust temperature settings on it, but what do you expect for 5 bucks? Good for small tanks and fish bowls.

Terrible, burned whatever touched it
When I would clean my tank, obviously the water would change and part of the heater wasn’t submerged while doing so. But unlike other heaters that shut off, this one stayed on and burned whatever it touched and even melted the plastic attachment that suctioned it to the tank wall. Very disappointed

Tank heater
It works great sticks to the side of the aquarium. Red light means it’s heating green light means it’s maintaining? Works great for our little tank. Also comes with a thermometer that you stick on the side of the aquarium.

The thin sticky tape underneath the capâ¦â¦
I was trying to peel it off, but it was really hard to do. I rinsed the shaft of the temperature bar and also under the cap where the tape was on top of the shaft. Iâm not sure if Iâm supposed to take it off, but I made sure the cap was tightened before putting in betta tank. But Iâm still worried that the tape under the cap might cause problems ð¥´

Thermostat fault.Killed all the fishes by over heating

I bought this expensive product for better care of my fishes & shrimp. Instead of maintaining the temperature, as advertised, it overheated the water killing everything in the tank. My beautiful planted tank was ruined. ðð¼
