Perfect for my fish
They work perfectly for my fish! I had a goldfish that needed to be separated from the males as they were stressing her out terribly and it helped so much! makes for easy feeding and the water flow through it is almost exactly the same as the tank without it. The suction works AMAZINGLY it was almost hard to get off which lets me know my fish are secure in there. It’s super sturdy and clicks together. Looks good in the tank as well just like the picture! Great value and saved me some money compared to going to somewhere like PetSmart

Easy portable home
Easy to use and install to your tank to seperate baby fish or other creatures. Fits a 10 gallon but Iâd recommend donât keep it there for long and get a bigger tank if you plan on having one of these in there to be spacious for all fish. Serves its purpose, sturdy enough and good quality. Doesnât interfere with other fishes and has good suction cups that stays in. Comes with two of these. You do have to build it but itâs very easy and quick

For top or mid level swimming fish
Works great for live bearing fish or fish the swim in the middle or top of tank, not good for raising ccory catfish or bottom dwellers.

Spacious
Just the right size to hang inside the tank and roomy so fry can grow quicker

Not good for snail babies
If you have snail babies like me, listen up: this is a plastic frame with a net pouch to cover it. There’s no lid and I knew that, I was going to make a cover. Putting it together was easy. But after looking at it carefully, I have a few issues: 1) the base of the frame is not flat, there are plastic bumps which have to be sanded down. 2) because it’s a cover around the frame, I can already see my snail babies crawling around the poles and under the base (inside of the mesh). So now I’m thinking the mesh needs to be glued to the frame. 3) I wish the bottom frame had a solid base. It’s open like the top frame.
Maybe it’s a great box for other sea creatures but as for bottom creatures, not so much. I’m still on the hunt for a good breeder box for my snail babies.

Very functional for my purpose
These are much larger than a typical breeder box and great for bringing up smaller fish until they’re to large to be eaten in a community tank. Are least that’s what I’m using them for. My platy’s breeded and are coming along well.

Do not hold baby fish
Used these as soon as I got them in. They held the babies for a little bit, but after about 30 minutes, came back to it and the babies were gone. There were no holes in the netting, but this did not hold them in. They all got out and got eaten by my other fish. Not worth the money for me.

Great for Separating/Rehabilitating Fish
We ordered two of the larger size for the purpose of separating fish that get picked on or injured. It is infinitely better than putting them in a floating cup or other hard-sided closed container. The waterflow allows the fish to have a full tank experience, with heated water and oxygen from the tank air stone. It goes together very easily and is pretty intuitive in design. The only complaint, and it is worth noting, is each box comes with only two (2) suction cups despite having six (6) suction cup tabs. You really need 4 cups for it to be stable (depending on the flow of your tank from the filter or air stone). All in all, this was a great investment that helps my fish rehab in peace with quality of life without setting up a hospital tank. Yes, there are times you will need a hospital tank, particularly if you need to medicate. But if your fish just needs some time away from a bully, or if a bully needs to be separated until other arrangements can be made, this is a great little product. Throw some floating plants in the top and some lightweight decor or betta log and it’s a mini paradise.
