Works Well
I recently got a baby catfish and bought a 2.5 gallon tank for him. When i set the tank up, i had bought a 3 gallon cycling filter, which he kept getting sucked up in. I have a 20 gallon bubbler in my other tank, but i never thought there would be this small do a bubbler filter! when it came it was smaller than expected which i love. i bought the cord along with this bubbler which iâm pretty sure was around $10 ? But $6 is an amazing price for just the fabric bubbler. The only part of this that makes a lot of noise is when the bubbles hit the surface of the water. other than that, itâs super quiet and not annoying whatsoever. Plus, it was super easy to put together and instructions were understandable. The power is the perfect amount for 3 gallon and below tanks. As i said, i have a 2.5 gallon tank and it keeps it bubbling and i havenât had problems yet, which is great because iâve had it for almost 3 months now.Another addition that i wanted to add to this review is that it fits well and isnât huge and obnoxious in your small tank. A I repeated, I have a 2.5 gallon tank which is fairly small but good for my baby fish (i will obviously upgrade once he grows) but the point is it just squeezed into the corner of my tank with no disruptions.Overall if you have a small tank 3gallons or under this is definitely the bubbler for you.

These filters are a must for 3 gallons and under..
I love these mini filters. I have 2 Betas in their own turle/container. And these filters with the flow adjustments is perfect. And keeps the water clear for about a week and maybe beyond. I still down half a water change every week to make sure my beta gets everything they need.

It works and looks cute being so tiny
It works great. Looks really cute in the 2.5 gallon tank.

Decent standard sponge filter but not great connectors.
These are pretty standard sponge filters. Operate and function like all others and work just as well. My only complaint is they use a smaller diameter tubing for the airline so they have an adapter at the ends to fit standard size. I would have preferred they just used standard-sized airline tubing because, after a few times of taking it on/off my gang valve, it started to leak air from the adapter. Other than that, GREAT for nano tanks, its very low profile, and is easy to hide.

Great for mini tanks or Betta fish bowl!
This little filter is so cute and fit right in my sons betta bowl. This product will require you to get an air pump, but you can get if right off Amazon. I like it because it came with three to the pack I got so the extra tubing and parts I was able to attach it the way I wanted. It comes with a small knob to turn and control the bubbler. I got it to help filter, create surface tension, and bubble to produce more air for the little guy. Price was right, ease of assembly, there is no noise, and the quality of the little filter with definitely catch particles. I have had it now for a while and it is still doing its job.

Great for Aqueon 5.5 gallon tank
The tiny size is perfect for extremely small tanks like this Aqueon 5.5 gallon from Petsmart. I had just an airstone for several months, and after a week, I’m happy with the gentler flow, and I’m sure the betta is too. I wish the sponge was a bit more porous. I’ll probably be cutting up some older media to fit instead of keeping the tiny-pored sponge that it comes with. I didn’t think that I’d like the mini hose it came with, but it’s actually nice and fits well. It took a day to actually stay flat on the substrate, even after squeezing the sponge out several times in the tank, bc it just doesn’t weigh much at all. No problem though. Overall it’s a really good mini sponge filter for betta tanks, and I’m sure it will be even better with some coarse sponge cut to fit.

So so
I will say the sponge itself is great and working well. The only issue I had is that it came with a valve to control the pressure or air flow but the tube is too tiny to actually fit it in. I tied my tube in a tiny not and you can loosen and tighten it as needed.
