cute and useful!
as a former 90s goth who loves Halloween and now keeps Bettas… how could I not? I’m putting together differently themed aquariums right now, and this one was a cute little spooky-pirate touch for the 20L blackwater biotope I’m putting together that just has a samurai betta in it right now. you can only really see it from above, so the standard view is still serious, but I get the fun of this too (because honestly the deep nerds of the aquarium hobby need to lighten up sometimes). this betta is a rescue, and dragonscale type bettas can go blind later in life (it’s called “diamond eye”) so it’s good to get them used to navigating to a feeding ring beforehand just in case so they can find their food. the tank is so big for just him that it’s good to give him a target anyway, and any aquarium with flow this will keep it from sinking too fast for your top feeders and reduce waste and ammonia buildup. if you have a lot of floating plants, it makes sure the food stays clear of them too, don’t want it getting lost and moldy in the leaves!

My fish love this
I got this to see if I can target train my betta on food. As it happens, all of my fish love it! It’s also really cute and sturdy. The basket can pop out for easy washing and it helps minimize my food waste when the filter would suck up all their food. I also feed live (frozen) food to them and the basket makes it easy to push a small cube of frozen food into.

Such A Cool Feeder
This is such a cool feeder for our beta fish and we found it just in time for halloween season. Our beta tank has a small filter that has just enough of a current that it disturbs the tiny food pellets if our fish isn’t quick enough. We had been looking for ideas and came across this so we decided to give it a try. We went with the white color to help provide some color contrast with his food and other surroundings. The fish probably doesn’t care much about the shape of it but we love it.
