Greats seeds!!
I planted one bag of seeds in a 5gallon tank this last Saturday. In my experience more is better than not enough. I lightly covered the seeds with my black sand. It is now Wednesday and I am getting plenty of little sprouts. Excited to see what 7 days look like. I covered my tank with regular cling wrap and painters tape. With holes in the top. My light is a NICREW C10 24/7 LED Aquarium Light for Plants. I have this light on all my planted aquariums. (7planted tanks). I used a small spray bottle of water mixed with 5ml of CO 2 booster. So far everything is going smoothly. I will update when it hits one week and then again in two weeks and in a month so far Iâm in love with these seeds and am trying to find dwarf baby tears from the same seller. No luck yet. But I am excited to see how these grow. Patients and planning is key.UPDATEDay 8 of planting. The sprouts have really taken off but are still rooted fragiley. I did fill the tank with water very slowly and with paper towels as a buffer on day 7. But they are looking very well and very alive.

Do not purchase!
Iâd give this 0 stars if I could since this is a complete scam. I recommend doing some research on what âcarpet seedsâ really are before falling for this the same way I did. This turned into a putty all over the bottom of my tank ruining about 20 dollars worth of aquarium substrate. If something has grown for someone, turns out it will melt anyway in a few months as these seeds arenât meant for aquariums and are glorified chia pet seeds. Took about two weeks for me to realize nothing would actually grow and my money canât even be refunded.

Decently good carpet
First off I did not follow directions but I got good results. I think i layed the seed too thick. I added water and had to empty it so there was still pools of water. The seed grew in most spots I’d say 90%, so i added a little extra just before writing this review. The seed sprouted in about 3 days this is day 5.Had issues with getting the right temp and humidity eventually it got there then it sprouted fast. I do have a grow light on it for at least 8 hours but usually more.I had issues with mold not alot. This was today. The seed is very sticky and stretchy once wet. This kind of helps with placement on side angles. It reminds me of chia seed.I noticed that the stickiness went away in the parts that fully grew but in the “dead spots” it’s still sticky.Overall I’m pretty happy with it and I’d buy it again, it grew rapidly was able to grow regardless of my mistake, the stickiness is both a good and a bad. I layed the seed out and sprayed what was left in the bag to stick onto sides.

Surprised to find it worked, very well!!
Definitely takes someone who has an eye for biology to maximize results. Follow the reviews for instructions. I tried different methods to seed this, but I planted this in a hexagon tank. Got amazing results to start building a fantasy forest tank for my husband. There’s a lot of seeds so if you plan it out you will end up with an amazing amount of coverage.

It grows
By the end of the first week I thought i was scammed. I said to give myself a month, even if they didn’t grow, atleast I tried. By the middle of week 2, it started sprouting. Glorified. Kept it in a green house environment, but mold grows and a patch didn’t grow. I would say about 87% of the ground i covered actually spawned. Good luck to you guys.

Purposely misleading.
These are chia seeds. They’ll bloom and look great for about a week before dying and destroying anything else in the tank. Chia seeds cannot live under water. I should have known better, since they refuse to say what kind of seeds they are (did I mention they’re chia seeds?)

Smells like death
Seeds planted. Took eight days to sprout. Carpet was absolutely beautiful. Lasted about two weeks after adding fish. Not sure why but I ended up with a funky moldy smell. Took hours to scoop out my beautiful roots. The bowl of plants as well as my arms REAKED terribly. I will not be planting my tank with this again.

Awesome!!
These seeds are awesome, just as expected. Iâm assuming the bad reviews are from people who have never grown anything before or just dumped them in a filled aquarium. I did it by putting down some cheap aqua soil then dumping the seeds generously over the area I wanted covered and purposely left the foreground empty. I sprayed with water and then put plastic wrap over the tank and let air in every day or two. I kept my tank light on around 12-14 hours a day, and only had to mist the plants every 3 or 4 days. It took about 10-12 days to get to this point, and they sprouted around day 5 or 6. I believe the main key to success is keeping it warm like a greenhouse to assist in germination. My aquarium air temp was around 79 degrees.
