A bag of wasted time and money
Gave one star for effort. I would’ve given a zero star if given that option. I would love to return this product but I dumped it out in my garden and hopefully it helps the weeds back there grow. Bought this for my lotus plants and I let it sit for 3 days and I got nothing but murky brown water. Tried planting my sprouted lotus seedlings and guess whatâ¦. It all floated. Nothing stayed down. What a waste of money and time.

Appears as advertised i have no idea yet how well it will work

Donât start the process until you have received both the soil and the seeds!
While waiting for the soil to arrive I started the seeds in water. However it took weeks for the soil to arrive and my sprouts were way too long to plant properly.

Just as advertised, and packaged well.
The bag does contain small pebbles as well as the soil, but they do explain why. That type of clay soil takes some time to soften up. I broke it up by hand in the water, let it settle for a day then put the plants in it. They seem to like it!

Just buy the good stuff if youâre serious about success.
Thought that Iâd make my own soil. Bad mistake! After wasting about three weeks of doing it myself I order this product. In one day after planting everything came to life as it should have.

Meh
I purchased this soil for the lotus seeds I was sprouting. Itâs ok soil, but my lotus seeds died in it and then the soil became stinky and unusable. I also found a stem in the soil that was sprouting pink growth. I planted it in a little pot inside to see what it was. After it had grown, I discovered it was an invasive plant from China. I think Iâll try another source the next time I purchase aquatic soil.
