A must for a planted tank
Fertilizer is a must for my planted tank. Due to a combination of its small five gallon dimensions and the sheer amount of plants I keep in there due to my questionable plant accumulation habits, my plants always need more nutrients than the tank itself generates. Luckily, Aqueon’s plant food is an affordable option that, over my three years of keeping small fish tanks, has never failed me. My eight Marimo moss balls, Anubia nana, Java fern, and inexplicable moss growth are always green and healthy. I’ve also kept African dwarf frogs, betta fish, and mystery snails in my tank at various points, and they’ve never been affected by the plant food in any way. Honestly, I love this stuff.

Pretty good
Bought this because it was cheap and i needed more fertilizer. it gets the job done, nothing special. the lid does leak where you click it open, and it doesn’t seem like i can do anything to make it stop. easy measurements, there’s instructions on the bottle and labeled in the cup itself. smells like fertilizer. decent fertilizer

Works well. Started new dirt aquarium and used to start plants. Helped plants get green and take off.

Not sure how well it works
I am not sure how well this works. Used for a month and plants still turned black or changed color. Will continue to use and update review.

Best value general purpose fertilizer.
I find that this product works as well as more expensive all in one ferts. I’ve been using it in my low tech 40 gallon for a couple months now and have had no algae issues and decent plant growth.
