Unfortunately, this fish food has doubled in price since I bought it last year!
Good, medium-sized pellets. The goldfish I have love it. Mostly, it sinks, but sometimes a few pieces float for a little while (maybe a minute, if fish don’t gobble them immediately!). My fish swallow the whole pellet; pellets don’t crumble, they don’t cloud the water, made in USA of natural ingredients (shrimp, wheat, fish, vitamins & minerals added). The pellets come in a plastic container with screw-on lid. (Plastic seal on top before opened.) No problems with “freshness” – they are solid pellets, don’t get moldy or mushy.
My 5 (five) goldfish have more than doubled (more than 5 or 10 times?) in size & weight; I feed them a variety of foods, including this, which is higher in protein than most. (Apparently, goldfish need higher protein like this in cold weather.) We got dimestore goldfish to put in an outdoor rain barrel (to eat mosquito larvae), but bring them in during winter. They have gotten so big, we only put 2 (two) in the barrel, keeping 3 (three) as pets inside! (Not sure if they will all “fit” in the 55 gallon tank we have inside, now!) It will be interesting to see how they get along in there!
To sum up, it’s good food, but pricey, now. Enjoy your pets! 🙂

Great pellets
They are great, they are fresh, a decent size for the shrimp, nutritious, they don’t smell bad, they are not too hard and can be eaten easily. Great value for the money.

Fine, but large pellets
These are fine foods, but way to larger for Corydoras. They have to wait for the pellet to soften up and fall apart before they can get any of them.

Good value
Shrimp love them. Lot of food for the cost.

Great for all fish, simple target feeding for bottom dwellers
Guppies love it, sink quickly so I can target feed my loaches and Coryâs something other than what the guppies leave behind, which isnât much!

Iâve used this for a few years now and my fish love them. My loaches go crazy for them the second they hit the ground. I recommended my mom to try them for her fish too and she said she was amazed at their reaction and her fish clearly enjoyed them as well.
They breakdown as the fish eat them but keep their shape till they get munched on. I donât find they cloud the water all and the ease of breakdown allows the fish to eat them without needing to swallow them whole which could be difficult for some fish since they are a decent sized pellet.

My body feeder chocolate chip love it

In my aquarium I have two Reed Fish / Rope fish , they are fussy with dry foods and prefer live or frozen , other fish Jack Dempsey and Four line Pim also gorge on live / frozen as well as my staple , my staple is NLS â Thera- A but the reed never eat it , but they love these pellets and it allows me to feed live once a week and have the ease of feeding pellets , these float for a bit and then sink so are useful for fish higher in the water column, recommended .
