Great video quality. Need to tilt lower
Doesnât tilt low enough â I placed it in a shelf to look down and it barely went down. However the quality of video is excellent, better than my vtech camera

Fantastic Baby Monitor â Easy Setup, Great Features!
This baby monitor exceeded my expectations! Right out of the box, the packaging was nice, with all features clearly listed. The camera and components were individually wrapped, and it came with a USB-A to USB-C cable, a small wall mount, and the camera itself. The camera feels well-made, with a soft-touch coating that gives it a quality feel.Setup & Connectivity:The setup process was fantasticâsuper quick and easy. After downloading the app (available for both Apple and Android), I turned on the camera and started pairing. The Bluetooth pairing feature made this incredibly fast. I set it up in my daughterâs upstairs bedroom while my router and modem are downstairs, and the WiFi range held up well.Features & Performance:This camera is packed with impressive features:â SD card slot for local storageâ Night vision for clear viewing in low lightâ Pan & tracking to follow movementâ Two-way audio with a fun voice changer effectâ Humidity & temperature monitoring â a huge plus for meâ Lullabies â a nice surprise, though it prompted me to insert an SD card (not included) before using this featureOne nice detail is that when you start a live feed, the app displays a message stating that itâs establishing an encrypted connection. While I havenât tested the encryption myself, everything else on the camera works as advertised, so I assume this feature is legitimate.Video & App Quality:The video quality is great, with the option to switch between different resolutions depending on internet speeds. The app itself is responsive and user-friendly, and while there are additional paid features available, I didnât find them necessary for my use.Final Thoughts:Overall, I really like everything about this camera so far. Itâs well-built, packed with useful features, and child-friendly. The app runs smoothly, the live feed is clear, and setup was a breeze. If youâre looking for a great nanny cam or baby monitor, this is an excellent choice. No complaints!

Using it with an Arenti monitor, works great!
I already had an Arenti camera + handheld monitor (monitor not included). Knowing that the monitor isn’t included and reading the listing multiple times, I bit the bullet and decided to get it to try and see if it’ll pair with what I already had. The listing didn’t mention anything about it pairing with a monitor–only the phone app but I wanted to try anyways.Unsure about the app but with the monitor, it paired flawlessly. So quick and seamless. Straight out of the box, I plugged it in, it did some turning to calibrate (I think), then I held the pairing button. Heard a beep, clicked ok on my monitor, and bam–paired. Now my screen can see two monitors at once, I can tilt/pan both cameras, make one camera full screen if I wanted. Works amazing.Build quality feels high. Camera quality is great as well. Has color and night vision. Temperature sensor might be a bit incorrect (they were a few degrees off) but I don’t expect these monitors to be 100% accurate.Overall a great buy. Works well and if you’re needing a second camera to pair with your already-existing Arenti product, this is it. Just make sure your monitor can pair 2 cameras.

So/So
Video works well but sound is hit or miss and the buttons don’t always work properly. Monitor is kind of cheaply made for the amount it costs.

Easy to Use
I recommend this ARENTI baby monitor to anyone considering getting one! It is was super easy to setup. It is easy to use and has some great fetures including temperature and humidity sensoring, night vision that works very well, and cry detection to name a few. The camera can be mounted to the wall or can stand alone. I personally didnât want to mount it on the wall because I wanted the ability to move it around my house if I needed to. It comes with an SD card for storage. It also comes with a USB cable (A to C). It works with an app that should be downloaded before setting up the camera. After the app is downloaded the camera can be paired to a phone and Viola! This baby camera is a well-made product with nice features and a reasonable price.

Bought this camera as security for my room while I am away.Sure enough over Christmas (I was visiting family) my phone alerted me to movement and I was able to bring up a housemate going into my room (was in the night and the IR works really well). It’s not a hidden or spy cam but great if you want to see whats going on while you are not home.

Excellent camera for the money

When this camera is connected to the network it works perfectly fine – good image quality, good night vision and pan/tilt control. However, unless it was placed right next to the internet router, it refused to stay connected. In the room I wanted to use it in, it remained offline for the vast majority of the time despite the WiFi signal in there being perfectly fine for literally any other device. Followed all trouble shooting advice from the manufacturer and it was useless. Returned and got a Blink camera instead, which has no issue connecting to the WiFi in the same location.

Its a nice security cam that meets my expectations. I love it. It worked perfectly without disconnecting for a long period of time. Thanks..

In a world of white (and sometimes black) wifi cameras that look boring, there is this. A silver and black thing with more than a little resemblance to 2001’s Hal 9000.I keep forgetting who made it, aventi? avanti? nope, it is Aranti, again no, Arenti. The Arenti Dome in fact It looks metal, it isn’t. but the plastic does really convey a metal look and it is aesthetically more pleasing (to my mind at least) than the usual bland white cameras out there. The camera unit is inside the black ball and is located within the silver surrounding ring. It rotates as a complete black ball for vertical view changes (this is also how you access the micro SD card slot if you want to store video on the camera itself). The ring itself also rotates on the base, that takes care of the camera rotation left and right. The supplied usb power lead goes in from behind and at the lowest point of the base and actually plugs in nearer the centre of the base so making for a very neat connection with only the wire itself showing as the plug is so deep inside. The camera itself was on offer when we bought it so was around 32 pounds. It is usually around 40. Is it worth it? I would say yes. Quality is good, the infra red worked well for us, but we didnt use it at any larger ranges. The USB lead was an ok length. It could always be longer, but it is what it is. So it is a must have camera right? No. Unfortunately after getting out of the gates and heading into the lead for so long? it fails at the final hurdles. The software. You need the app for your phone (android here but IOS is also there as an option). Setting up and registering brings all the things I hate about apps and tech today. To use the camera you need an Arenti account. Free to set up, but annoying. What happens if arenti go bust? does the camera die with them? But thats an aside. continuing on there are the usual ‘this app needs permissions to run, do you agree in which case you can use the camera you bought already, or do you refuse and we will brick any options to use it’. Even if you are only using local settings, the software setup insists on stuff clearly aimed at the cloud side of things. You dont need to use the cloud at all by the way. Finally, in use. you can set the camera to record segments of 1,2 or 3 minutes. That was way too long for our use. 30 seconds would have been fine. But one minute it is. We were keeping a check on our cat. On her way out she triggered the camera every time and we saw way too much of a cats bum. Coming back in? she was either really quick or the camera was just that bit too slow to catch her. It often filmed nothing at all, as when she triggered it, by the time the cam had woken and started recording it was too late as she was already in and past the camera. Finally the software itself. It is ok. There is scant info on how to work it but for the most part it is self explanatory. The daily lists of triggers show a static image from the cam activation. Tapping the play icon on the left plays the video while tapping the picture shows that still image/thumbnail in full screen.I like the camera. I hate the intrusive nature of having to create an account, partly for the ever expanding digital footprint aspect, but also for the previously mentioned concern for what happens if the company goes away. Would I buy it again? yep. But I already signed away my rights to its registration requirements so it is too late for me anyway.
