Good fit
Got this for my 20 lb spaniel to swim & boat in the lake. He can get out of any harness & can get one leg over in this one, but he keeps it on, it holds him up in the water & I can grab the handle when he falls off his float. So mission accomplished!

Smallest size was too big
This seemed decent quality. But the smallest size was way too big. That isnât safe for my pup, he would just slip right out. I went with another brand, their smallest size fit him better. But I still gave it 4 stars as it is not their fault my dog is teeny. He only weighs 6lbs and is tall and long.
Clever Naming Scheme –
Great for an older dog
It’s hard to keep my dog out of the water, but he never did know when to stop. Now that he’s getting older I worry about him getting too tired and not being able to get himself back out of the water. This life jacket is brightly colored and he wore it all day without trying to get out of it, so it must be comfortable. It’s strong enough to lift a 50 lb dog by the handle so he didn’t have to jump into the car, and after the first lift he sat and waited to be lifted instead. He definitely tired himself out a few times but the life jacket kept him from getting into trouble. Would definitely recommend if you’re going to be out on the water with a dog.

Out dog is a mixed lab and German short hair pointer about 65 to 70 lbs fir him good very adjustable too so it will work in the range for those dogs he is long and skinny so if you dog is more plump it should still work we got the X large

Disappointing
Although a nice life jacket, and does the job to an extent, the fit around the neck is junk. It does not stay tight nor secure. Within a minute of being in the pool, the tightners slip and the sole purpose of connecting around the neck area is completely loose and hanging as if it was never tightened.

Very cute and definitely keeps my pup afloat
I bought the medium based on the chart. My pup is a Jack-Chi and weighs 17lbs. If you grab the back wrong he can slip out of it even snugged down, but if you use both hands to pick him up it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Keeps him afloat if he gets excited and jumps off my paddle board.He didn’t have to adjust to it. He acts like he doesn’t even know it’s on him.He’s not a real fan of water so this was a must when we go out on the water.

No Velcro!
We got size medium for our Cattle Dog Mix (~25lbs) who goes on the boat with us, but isn’t the best swimmer. I wanted a vest that she could comfortably wear without overheating (she’s black), and that doesn’t trap the sand, when she inevitably rolls in it. So far, I think this jacket has real potential in these objectives and appears very well built. I did need to size it to her as it is buckles all the way around. BUT I think that will lend to its durability and longevity.

Bin von der Schwimmweste sehr begeistert. Der Auftieb ist für unsere Hündin, eine Havaneserin mit 6,5 kg, perfekt. Bei der vorhergehenden Schwimmweste tauchte sie mit dem Kopf unter wenn sie vom SUP fiel. Diese hier hält sie direkt über Wasser. Zudem ist die Passform sehr angenehm für sie. Die Weste ist nicht so starr, wie viele der kastenförmigen Schwimmwesten. Einzig der Harken für die Leine dürfte in der Nähe des Halses statt auf dem Rücken sein.

Première utilisation aujourd’hui et rien à redire. La taille M est parfaite pour min setter anglais de 21 kilos. A voir dans le temps mais la qualité à l’air bien. Nous l’utiliserons sur chaque balade ou presque. Notre loulou est épileptique et adore nager dans le lac sur notre balade quotidienne. Cela me rassure de le savoir en sécurité s’il déclenche une crise au beau milieu d’une “brasse”.
