Wonderful item to take care of your pets when your away
We got 3 of these for our different pets. Our two cats love them, and our dog makes excited noises when he hears his food being dispensed from it. This product makes measuring out the amount of food needed a snap, and we set it to be perfect for the diet we had them on. It holds a decent amount, and I don’t refill it more than once a month. The camera on it works wonderfully when out for the day and is of perfect quality for the purpose of checking in on the pets. It was easy to set up as well, allowing us to access multiple units from the app. The design is simple and fits well in the corner. It also was easy to clean when needed. There was one day the feeder got stuck, and the app notified us that there was a jam. The food had clumped in a ball and was not the feeder’s issue. However, it made it simple to know that it was not working. Because it was simple to clean, the jam was easily removed, and the product still works perfectly.

Easy to set up and program or change settings. 5/5 stars but may need to secure top to prevent outdoor animals raiding it if used outdoors.

Iâve had this feeder for approximately one month now. WiFi set up was easy and requires you to download the smart life app. You can set up an automatic schedule and choose how many portions you want it to dispense. You can also manually dispense the food. You get notifications every time there is movement and a screenshot. I like this feature because i can keep track of when she eats and how much.You can access the camera anytime and the night vision is a plus. It has a microphone which allows hearing both ways. The audio is very loud which my cat did not appreciate. She knocked the feeder down so I donât use that feature. The feeder does come with a wall attachment for sturdiness.It also takes batteries as a backup in case the WiFi goes out. In addition you can purchase a memory card. I have not had any issues and highly recommend it.

Very Accurate
I can use a whole small bag of pet food in the feeder, you can set a schedule as well as spontaneous feedings. Very easy to navigate. However, if you keep the camera on you will get notifications every few minutes which can be a pain, but you can just turn them off. Also, the serving amount is a bit tricky, you can approach 2 different ways, 1 press the feeding button to see how much it gives you until your pet has enough, or if your pet is on a diet I would weigh the food on a food scale according to the package and figure out how many servings you need. Each serving that comes out of the feeder is approximately 10grams. The food pushes through and comes out great! which is nice because I had to send another brand back because the food would get stuck and it was hard to operate.

This feeder works great – we have it on our covered porch tucked in the corner and totally protected from wind and rain. We use it to supplement our outdoor working cats. The camera is clear even with the night vision and it connects with the Smart Life app on our phones via a bluetooth/alexa set up. I’m not a tech guru but we did get it to work remotely and that is fantastic. I can feed and see the cats no matter where we are. It is also another security source as it will trigger a picture whenever there is movement…we’ve caught a few sneaky opossums and raccoons…but most importantly we were able to track when the cats naturally came for food and then set their auto schedule accordingly. Now- for the customer service: I HIGHLY recommend this Frienhund brand and seller. Even though the product listing says you can use it outside I do not think it is weatherproof. We did technically put it outside even though it is still completely protected from the elements. Well, we had some very cold below freezing days and too many of them in a row caused the machine to work only sporadically. It would show feeding success but no kibbles (friskies dry cat food) dispensed. Otherwise, it worked perfectly, and is a great value for all the features you get. So, I was past the 30day amazon return deadline. I emailed Frienhund customer service and Shelly responded in 24hrs and offered solutions to my satisfaction. It was quick and painless. I am very impressed. And my cats are happy being fed again. Thank you Frienhund!
