I recently had a bit of a health scare which led me to wonder, as a cat owner who can probably go weeks with no outside contact and no immediate family around, what would happen to my beloved cat if something sudden were to happen to me and no one else knew? It could be quite some time before someone finally realizes something’s up and checks in with my cat, so I figured it’d be wise to be prepared should that scenario ever play out.Behold, the Liecko Automatic Cat Feeder, a two in one solution for both food and water with some seriously cool features. This cat feeder is awesome and also favors small dogs as well.This thing can hold just about enough food and water for around a month or so for a single cat or dog. You can set up to ten timed intervals and how much food you’d like to dispense each time with a smart home app which also keeps track of the food it dispensed throughout the day. You can also record your own audio up to 10 seconds to playback every time food is dispensed on the built in intercom/speaker.The dishes for food and water can be removed and in the foods case, simply detached via a magnet connection for easy access. The dishes are also built in containment pieces so they’re tip proof, but not dummy proof if you have a cat who likes to paw at the water anyways. My only minor complaint in this department is if there’s no food actively in the dish, there’s a chance the first bits of food can come out so fast they shoot off the dish which isn’t an issue if your pet notices.The unit also comes with a 2k video camera (with night vision as well!) that allows you to watch your pet eat or drink via wifi. You can hear and speak to your pet through the camera and intercom which is seriously cool. My only complaint about the video feature though is that there is no option to capture pictures or video automatically upon motion detection. You can only watch the live stream and record or take a picture of whatever you actively see. It’s also a cool party trick to let others potentially see your pet while your out (this is why I have no friends).The lens is a semi wide angle lens which gives you an okay field of view. I wish it could’ve been a little wider since the dishes cut out of frame which cuts the pet half out of view, but overall it’s decent enough. I’m thrilled it comes with a camera and intercom at all so despite some of my feedback, I’m satisfied with it.The unit features a battery option (3 C Batteries not included) so should the power go out, it can last up to forty days according to the manual. It also has a built in socket for Desiccant’s to keep the pet food in the container fresh and a time keeper on the app to know when it needs to be replaced. The power cord is encased in a protective anti-chew nylon and is pretty decent in length should you choose to place it further away from an outlet. The unit will also alert you via phone and indicator lights if the food is having any issues being dispensed. It’s definitely not meant to host larger pet foods so your usual food for small animals should be fine.The device itself looks sleek and cool and is favorable in size. Would be nice to see different colors in the future since it only comes in white as of now. The food and water containers have see through panes which also includes a light that illuminates the water which can also be turned off. Simply put, this is hands down the best automatic feeder for any small pet owner. Hats off to the engineers that made this, it’s worth every penny (or nickel)!

I love this product. It is super easy to use and very convenient! I take a lot of small trips so being able to not only automatically feed my cats but have the ability to see them as well is amazing! This unit is great. I was gone on vacation and I needed something to help me see my cats to make sure they are eating. Easy to assemble and easy to use through the app. I was able to access it from a cruise ship. Great quality video. The only thing I donât like is that it doesnât have an SD card to record. It only does live or you have to subscribe to their service.

Great product
Great product! Love the ease of the app. It was easy to set up a feeding schedule and easy to make periodic feedings as needed. I get notifications on my phone when food is dropped or when the feeder is empty. The camera is really clear and nice to see which of my cats is eating and when. My cats don’t use the water as much as I also have a water fountain. But it’s nice to have both options available.

It’s so useful. I love the camera and the night vision mode was a surprise to me. I love that I can schedule the food is small intervals to slow down my dog. Just remember the food must be small.
