Bigger than expected
Better than I expected as far as size and ease of opening/closing.Not as sturdy as I was hoping but still love it.I ordered the small and I could have went with XS but gives him some grow room.11lb puppy, plenty of room

Convenient
Got this to contain my dog when traveling. Way easier and more compact than packing a crate. If your dog is an escape artist, it wonât work. But if you dog will just sleep and hang out, itâs perfect. The small version is pretty large. It has a Velcro thing to roll up the door so you can leave it open for your dog to get used to.Yeah the folding part is super tricky!!!! A diagram would be helpful for those wondering how to do it. I can fold my car windshield shade â with the twisting in opposite directions motion â but not this thing! I folded it flat but couldnât get it back to a circle shape without feeling like I was going to break it. In any event, that it folds flat is good enough!

It’s a cheap carrier, you get what you pay for.
So this was bought for a very specific purpose, and served that purpose well, but likely won’t survive much beyond that single purpose.I have a 15 year old cat who gets anxious and carsick. And we decided to move to a new city around 3 hours away, and I was the one moving the cat and our 2 year old human child, so stopping on the side of the road or at rest stops was something I wanted to minimize to all extents possible. But this cat has never been in a car more than 15-20 minutes without vomiting or pooping all over whatever carrier she was in, sometimes multiple times and on one traumatic (for all of us) occasion, necessitating a bath at our destination. After a ton of research, I determined that my best bet short of medicating her (which, at her age, her vet wasn’t thrilled about, nor was I really looking to add “take carsick geriatric cat to the vet” to my to-do list on a day I’m supervising the packing and loading of my entire house with said cat and 2 year old), was buying a larger carrier and hoping for the best. Now as I said, cat is 15. I was honestly having some doubts about whether the trip might be the end of her, and even if it’s not, she won’t be taking too many more long car trips, if any, so I was not about to shell out three figures for some Cadillac carrier. I just wanted something that would contain her for the move, fit in my backseat with the car seat, and allow her to not feel claustrophobic for three hours. This thing fit the bill for about $20.Now, it didn’t fit the bill neatly. First of all, it never stood up straight when opened. It has a lilt to the side about 20 degrees that I can’t figure out how to fix. That didn’t hamper it fitting in my backseat, but it does limit its utility as a long-term cat bed or anything like that. The fabric is 100% cheap-as-it-comes nylon. It will not hold up to a scratchy cat, or any type of excitable small dog or anything like that. The zipper barely worked, and the windows are… Let’s just say I wouldn’t put an animal with any drive to escape in this thing. Thankfully, my girl is docile and just yells when she’s somewhere she isn’t happy, until she goes to sleep. She’s no kind of Houdini and I’ve seen stealthier donkeys. That said, it popped open easily and stood up, if leaning. I was able to layer several old towels and pee pads in the bottom and she still had plenty of space, and it fit behind the drivers seat in my newer model Forester across one side and the middle. It was a little squished between the door and my son’s massive rear-facing car seat, but the door closed and it stayed on the seat (though I drive very far back, and the carrier needed the support of the drivers seat. If you’re one of those drivers who likes to chew on your steering wheel, you may need to put it behind the passenger seat and move that all the way back for support). And most importantly, it got her from point A to point B in much calmer fashion than I’ve ever seen her in the car. She was clearly displeased with her lot in life when I shoved her in (I carried her in my arms from the house to the car, this thing will NOT bear weight, plus it’s too big and clunky to try to maneuver with an annoyed animal inside), and she gave me a stern talking-to for the first maybe 20 minutes, then she laid down and went to sleep. I had grand plans of putting a tiny litter box in there with her, but alas, that didn’t happen, so when she started yowling about an hour from our destination I pulled over to find she’d pooped. So I just took the top layer of towel and pee pad off, right out from under her, shoved it in a trash bag, and continued on down the road, and there was more than enough space for this maneuver without removing her from the carrier. Once relieved of her bowel movement, she curled up and went back to sleep, and that’s how I found her when we arrived at her new home.I never did get it to fold completely again. I got it flat, but not back into the little dinnerplate shape. But whatever, it lives tucked behind a shelf now, and occasionally my son plays in it. If and when it dies, I will not be disappointed. It served its singular purpose with honor and dignity, and I have no complaints. I bought a cheap carrier, I got a cheap carrier, and it performed as one would expect a cheap carrier to perform. For that, it gets a good rating from me.

Wonderful! I recommend this to dog and cat owners. The front âdoorâ opens and closes well too.
His portable crate is wonderful! Itâs very lightweight and simple to set up. Folding it correctly to put back in its plastic case is challenging for me but Iâm not mechanically inclined. LOL I put a folded a fuzzy blanket and on the bottom for comfort and warmth. My blind and deaf senior dog enjoys the mesh panels that let in light. A much larger dog would be comfortable in this too. I do recommend it.

Ok
Not as sturdy as I thought but ok for the litter of puppies when they are first born.

Very handy for travel
This is a pop-up lightweight crate that shows perfectly flat. I wouldn’t leave an animal alone in it for an extended period of time, because they could move it on their own, but if you need to confine your pet for whatever reason, this is handy to have. Appears to be well made, and it comes with good instructions, including cautions on how to open it (it really POPS open when released, so hold it away from your face) and how to twist it back into shape to fit in its case.

Shouldnât Have Bought
I like the weight and size, and itâs cute. But itâs impossible to fold it back down into the little circle bag it comes in. I did it once, but thatâs it. Not the end of the world – I bought a beach bag to carry it in. But, there you go, another purchase to make it work. The popup kennel is easy enough to set up, but doesnât just pop up. After a few uses it looks wonky, so I donât know how long it will last. Iâm using binder clips to help stabilize.Ohâ¦any dog who wants to get out will be able to shred it. Fortunately, Lucy is ok with it.Itâs too late to return it so I have o make it work or continue my search for the perfect kennel.

Very lightweight and easy to transport
This is exactly what I wanted. It is very cheaply made though, the zipper I don’t think will last long but I rarely zip it up. If you are looking for something to contain your dog that is not crate trained I would not recommend. However for me it works perfectly. My dog is extremely well behaved in a crate and I just needed something I could easily fit in my bag and lightweight to carry at dog sport events and this is perfect for that. I use it for class and I don’t zipper it closed as my dog does not need it to be zipped. I like how easy it is to put up and take down. It’s compact and lightweight so easy to transport. Not a 5 stars only because I feel like it will not last even with good care the mesh seems like it will rip quite easily so I’m very careful with it.

Buen producto.

After reading some bad reviews on this product here, I decided to take my chances still, because itâs not easy to get a small pop up crate. Iâm impressed with the quality. Itâs sturdy and yet lightweight. My 10 month old puppy went inside without hesitation (but sheâs crate trained). Iâm impressed and delighted that I have something to use on the go. But only time will tell if the flexible wires stay stand up to frequent use. (Do note that pop up soft crates are good only for dogs who are crate trained).
