Filter too strong for a Beta fish
UPDATE 3/13/25
The seller reached out to me to fix the issue. They were very responsive and shipped me a new item to attach to the output so it slows down the stream. My Betta fish is very happy and doing well. This company was very responsive and cared a lot about fixing the problem!
The tank itself is nice, easy to set up. However, the filter is way too strong for a Beta fish. As soon as I put my Beta in, he was stuck to the intake. I made some modifications to lessen the pull and push of the water but I would not recommend this tank for a Beta fish!

TOO STRONG OF A CURRENT
Very cute tank, but the water pressure from the pump is WAY TOO STRONG. My beta doesn’t seem happy as she is consistently having to fight the current. I wouldn’t recommend this for any fish unless the company fixes how strong the pressure is. I am planning on trying to find some way I can engineer this to slow it down. Maybe by a smaller pump.

Great little tank! I have my Betta fish in here and he loves it. When ordering, I asked the seller if they would send me the extra little pump attachment that makes the water come out at a slower rate. This extra attachment is very important for Betta fishâ¦I tired keeping my Betta in the tank without it and even on the lowest pump setting he quickly tired out and his body was sucked up against the intake wall! Iâd recommend waiting to put your Betta fish in until you receive the extra pump attachment. The attachment comes from China, but it didnât take too long to get to me (in the USA). Very responsive seller.

Nice tank, we love the shape of it. Itâs been easy to do water changes and clean.
The annoyance – We have to turn off the filter each time we feed our goldfish because the filter sucks up the food (we keep the filter on the lowest setting). For this reason, it would be nice if there was an on off switch on the filter instead of having to unplug each time.

Was really looking forward to this fish tank and bought based off reviews. I give it two stars as it was missing the filter foam. And looking over it Iâm not sure where you would order the replacement round ball filters. Also, it puts out a lot of water and thereâs no way to control the water flow for the filtration system and since I got this for a beta betaâs really donât like a lot of water flow.
