Great idea! Well Made! MY Birds Love The Perching Aspect Best
This bird treat swing is a cute and innovative idea! I’m sure it works wonderfully for birds who are comfortable with new objects. Unfortunately, my birds have had some negative past experiences and are now very wary of anything new. While they actually enjoy using the perch parts of this swing as a regular swing when it’s empty, they become very frightened when we try to put treats on it. This is in no way a reflection of the product itself, which is well-made and seems to be of very good quality. We are hopeful that with patience and continued positive reinforcement, our birds will eventually get used to the treat aspect of the swing. I highly recommend this to any bird lover and owner whose birds can handle change ð.

Nice product, some small annoyances
The product itself is nice looking, sturdy, and kind of a neat idea. There’s a couple of problems, though. One is my bird, who is afraid of the swinging nature of the toy and sorta thinks this is a threat to his existence, but that’s not on the product itself.The other is that it’s not easy to load. The end of the screw is not pointed, so putting veggies and fruits on can be messy, basically juiced the grapes and apples as I tried to get them on the stick. Additionally, putting the screw on right after sticking a piece of fruit on it is going to lead to sticky messes, and the screw is not always easy to remove after having sugary juice on it all day.I’m not convinced that cleaning isn’t going to lead to rust in the long run. Since my parakeet isn’t really into it, I’ll probably try it on the hamster or the rat and see if they like it. It will definitely get some use, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again without some design re-thinking. There’s got to be an easier way to load it up with goodies. Great idea, but maybe not the best execution.

Great way to provide fresh fruits and veggies
I really like this! I think it’s a genius way to provide fresh fruits and veggies to my birds! I normally hand feed them fresh foods. I like this option as a way to provide the food and not worry about falling into the bottom of the cage where they can’t get to it. I can actually leave the food with them for a little while to enjoy while I go do other things.

Missing the metal skewer

Great way to anchor food in your birds cage!
I ordered this for my new conure that will be coming home in the next few weeks. The decorative stars and cloud are both stapled to the base, making them sure secure. I was initially concerned (since my baby’s parents are basically feathered termites, lol), but after some pulling, and tugging, I feel safe and confident using this in her cage.The piece that holds produce on the feeder is a skewer with a small nut at the end. The threads run past the nut (when fully installed) by about 1/3 of an inch and runs on the opposite side of the wood by about 1/3 of an inch (so if your birds chew the wood a bit, you can still keep the skewer safe and in place.I will 100% be ordering more of these (as needed) and I am really glad that I was able to figure out a way to make it work for where I wanted to place it in her cage!I hope this review helped if you were on the fence about ordering. Good luck and happy shopping! ð¦ðNote: I zip tied the feeder to the provided perch so I could move the food further down the cage and not clip it to the roof. If you decide to modify your bird’s toys/items in their cage, be careful, do your research, AND KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR ISSUES. ð

The triangular shape insures 2 birds can eat simultaneously. You can install it directly inside the cage or place it standing on a table. Improve your bird’s health!
