Birds love this
This product is very well built and functions as it should. Though we only have finches who can’t really make it swing, they love to perch on it, several at a time. I can see how it would be great for budgies or larger birds as well. I would recommend this product.

Swinging entertainment for bird and owner
The negative: the bolt/nut/washer order takes a few goes to master the order and it takes an attempt or two fine tuning it once mounted to get it to swing without catching.My cockatiel is convinced itâs possessed and refuses to go near it lolThe positive: Once itâs set, itâs pretty nifty! My Budgie seems to prefer to chill there and will swing a bit here and there. Fairly certain once the newness of something in the cage wears off, they both will end up liking it. Iâll remove it from rotation (in exchange for other toys) when they get bored and introduce it again a few weeks later and it should hold them awhile!Pleasantly surprised overall.

Really nice quality, but doesn’t fit our large cage.
Was really excited to get this, but should have paid closer attention to the size! We aren’t able to get it inside their cage, as it is just a half inch or less too wide, sadly. Our parakeets love to swing, and we were replacing another they had, so they are without one right now, and are missing it. They have never been the kind to want to come outside their cage to hang out, so it won’t get used by them. However, we are going to be getting some hermit crabs soon, and I’m sure they would love to teeter, and climb on it as well. We’ll either just sit it on their substrate, or possibly put a branch through it that it can hang from, or maybe a large suction cup with a hook would work on the side of their glass tank. We’ll have to see.Once we get that set up here in the next couple of months or less, I’ll add those photos or video as well.Make sure to measure your cage door if you plan on using it IN a cage. I have posted some images, and one shows in light blue marker where the door lines are, and in red marker where the swing is too wide to fit any further.The wood is very clean, has no odor, and the parts are all great quality, and it was very easy to assemble.

Doesn’t swing with ease
This does not swing easily and the bottom of the swing lays on the cage. It doesn’t stay off of the cage and swing. It’s heavy and that’s why the bottom rests on the cage. Very disappointing.

Well made
This is a great swinging option for small birds! It is important to note the size as it is quite large and will likely not fit well in small cages. It was easy to assemble and install on the cage. My birds (budgies/parakeets) have a very large cage and also fly around freely in their room, so I attached this to outside of their cage for an additional option when they are not in the cage. I’m very happy with the quality of this item.

Good Quality
This is an updated review after using this for a few weeks. It was not sturdy when it was first put together and kept hitting the cage, but I remade it and it seems to be working much better! So just be sure to properly put it together. It is a great size for a green cheeked conure but he currently has no interest in going on it. Overall its a good product, just wish he would try it out.

Simple to assemble and fun for my birds
This swinging perch toy is fun for my birds. It was very simple and easy to assemble. The only problem I had was that the nut post they include is too long so it allows the entire bearing ensemble to move arms and fall out, but that is easily remedied by getting a shorter post to screw on that doesn’t allow as much movement.

Rocking/Swinging Bird Perch
This is a great wooden bird perch which rocks/swings. The perch arrives unassembled and took about five minutes to put together (you will need a Phillips head screwdriver). The perch is large and attaches to the side of your birds cage. Our two cockatiels love it, and as usual chew on it while rocking, which doesn’t seem to be a problem as the wood is thick and should last a long time. Highly recommend!
