Great playability, well made
This is a fantastic chew toy for my parakeets. It’s large with plenty of texture for them to play with and nibble on. It took them a few days to get used to it being there. Also came with wooded chew toy attached, which I removed and hung separately to provide another activity. It all appears safe, very well made, and the mat everything is attached to is sturdy. Excellent purchase for extended playability and colorful, exciting appearance.

Fun !
I love that it’s all natural, and my bird loves picking out the crinkled paper. I can even stick more crinkled paper into this saving me money buying more of these. It’s a nice size and has occupied my bird for hours. This is also a very good price for the size and variety of items for the bird to peck at.

Great toy, but watch for safety!
This bird toy is fantastic for keeping my bird entertained and occupied. My feather baby loves going after the millet, and it provides hours of fun and stimulation. However, there is a small safety issue to be aware of. Once the millet area is emptied, you’re left with an elastic loop that can become a choking hazard. I make sure to cut the loop off immediately after the millet is gone to keep my bird safe. Despite this, it’s a great toy—just requires a little extra attention.

I live in Senior Independent Living, but at some time before I arrived, they acquired 2 parakeets (budgies) but whenever I looked in on them, they had little or no drinkable water or food. I’ve had birds of various species my entire life and let management know that it didn’t make this center look good when they couldn’t care for a couple of small birds. I was buying food, toys, swings and spending a couple hours a week caring for them. At one point one of the birds laid 15 eggs – which were not fertile, so I removed the eggs and added calcium to their diet. But when I purchased this toy (two so far) they seem to have a great deal of fun destroying it – and it takes a couple months to complete the destruction. The egg laying would also stop. They are caring for the birds better now but i continue to purchase a higher quality of food and more and more toys. They’ll now come to me and perch on “step up” command. There cage is huge so that is one positive in addition to these toys. Most birds love to shred so I always start with that kind of toy. It’s been a big hit.

This bird toy is exactly as pictured. It’s colorful and attractive to the bird for destruction. Highly recommended! Comes packaged with care.

This a second “shredder toy” for my budgies, the first one I brought had been commandeered by Ted, (it’s bigger and more expensive,)It was from a different seller.As the cage is large I thought I’d get another for Remi, as Ted only allows his friend to use it on holidays and high days, he’s very possessive with his shredder toy.It’s been in the cage a few days, as yet it’s still being avoided, and eyed suspiciously, which Is typical of my feathery lads.Soon they will discover the fun to be had, as Ted is the alpha male bird, he will be the first to try it.It seems strong, colourful, lots to do on there, it looks easy enough to add things that my birds destroy.
