Black stones are not really black, even when wet.
The “black” stones are more like a dark brown. They are not black. I found another company that sells lava rocks that are black. They are also very dusty! You will need to rinse them thoroughly. That being said, they are nice, small, lava rocks at an affordable price.

Geat rocks
Love these rocks. Makes my succulents look really nice when I put them on top of the dirt. Helps keep moisture in longer. My succulents are still healthy. Also keeps moisture in even put dirt in the bottom of pot then add rocks then add dirt.I do wash them before I use them. That way I know I have clean lava rocks for my plants. I even save the ones I use and rewash them.
