Horse hoof stand – HOOF-IT blacksmith model have you ever wanted a single-unit, post and cradle hoof stand? One unit that makes it easy to work on both the top and bottom of the hoof without stopping to swap out parts or to another stand? We’ve invented, and field tested the new blacksmith model hoof stand and is manufacturing it now in the USA. For situations where changing to a different stand or swapping out the post and cradle isn’t practical in hoof care. We have designed the post cradle to hold a hoof on the post end with minimal to no cradle interference, and the cradle supports the horse’s hoof when you are working on the surface side of the hoof. The post cradle is built with a durable, inner foundation with supportive thick rubber coating to absorb shock and assist grip. The blacksmith base is a heavy-duty black composite base. It was built for stability, workability and is light weight. The support wings provide optimal stability, and the hexagon shape insures that it will not “roll-a-way” if tipped over. Great all-in-one stand!
My farrier is pregnant so I’m trimming my horses by myself for a while. This stand made it possible. I’m a small woman and I need to be able to use both hands when I’m trimming hooves. It is adjustable so it works well for all of my horses and my donkey. It was a little high for my miniature horses but I made it work and that was not unexpected since you normally have to order mini sized equipment for them. It is nice and light so I can move it around with one hand. I love that you don’t have to have extra pieces for different jobs. You just turn it around. Very convenient! It seems to be good quality. I’ll update after it’s been used a lot more which it will be. Overall, it’s a great value for the money.

Decent stand that does what it should
This stand is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It doesnât have magnets so you do have to carry your tools and it is easy for a horse to pull over as you work which can get in the way, but for the price and for what it does it works just fine.

ich bearbeite seit vielen Jahren die Hufe unserer drei Pferde alleine (Raspeln/Barhuf) und habe dazu die Vorderhufe immer zwischen meinen Beinen aufgehalten und die Hinterbeine jeweils auf dem Oberschenkel aufgelegt -Jetzt hab ich mir den Hufständer angeschafft, und ich muss sagen: ich bin begeistert !!! obwohl der Ständer relativ leicht ist, hat er einen stabilen Stand, kippelt nicht und ist von den Pferden sofort angenommen worden. Sogar unsere kritische Jungstute hat sofort die Hufe vertrauensvoll dort aufgelegt.Aber das beste ist, dass alle Pferde ihre Hinterhufe bequem dort aufgelegt haben und ich für das Raspeln der Hinterhufe überhaupt keine Rückenschmerzen mehr bekommen habe… also eine absolute Kaufempfehlung !!!
