The fish seem to like it hahaha Actually after reading different reviews on various sites I found this to be the best value. You can go broke on show koi food but I have a 1,200 gallon back yard pond and the colors are vibrant on my fish.

Having a larger bag of fish food is more convenient than the little vials that the fish go through in a few weeks. These pellets are slow to break down, and I’ve seen the koi and goldfish in our pond devour them, so I’m guessing the food must be OK. I’m not a fish so I can’t say more.

I have had both koi and then goldfish. I tried cheaper food and the fish reluctantly ate it. I got this food and the difference was dramatic, the fish gobbled this up immediately. You can tell it is great food because it has a smell, too. I noticed the baby dish were retaining their colors better and my fish were growing bigger than my neighbors fish were. I would not guy anything than this for my fish! It is not cheap but the fish are healthier and there is less fish waste with this low ash food.

Good quality, nice pellet size
We have koi we got from Walmart as small fry that have been of this food for several years. They are outgrowing their tank and no health issues !
