This item is loved very much by my African Grey Parrot. The strips are great to keep her beak busy and are untreated and safe for a bird.She chews on the tale of a strip that has been tied to her cage, next to her favorite perches. The strips are also used to restring toys that arrive strung with easily chewed through rope as she is unable to unstring or chew through the leather strip easily or at all.

Unpleasant Odor, But Great Heavy Leather Strips
These leather strips will be great to use in making toys for my little conure, but they have a very strong odor that I havenât experienced with other leather that I use for making jewelry or bags. Iâm trying to air them out, hoping the smell dissipates. If it doesnât, Iâll find uses for it outside because itâs actually giving me a headache.I donât know if every batch has this same issue, but I wanted to make others aware that it might.

I mount the strings on a pole and this is the Best Toy for them Ever. And when I get tired, they get to chew on the NON-TOXIC leather strands, no worries. They Love it, so I have to put it away when done playing LOL. TRY IT!
