It worked
I first initially purchased this because my cat had a skin irritation but while it worked to prevent them from scratching or making it worse, they did eventually have to have surgery on it. What I love is that I didn’t have to have them wear a cone because this suit not only covered up their incision but it prevented them from getting a hold of their bandages and then open wound. The suit itself is completely washable but I was also able to dry this in my dryer without it shrinking. The suit wasn’t too tight for them and they were still able to move around with not issues. Even when it came to using the litterbox, there was not mess on it at all. The fabric is super soft and stretchy so even though my is a medium haired cat, it wasn’t too tight for them. It did look a bit weird at first, especially with them wearing clothes, but my cat actually likes it even now, especially with all the rain and thunderstorms we’ve been having. It’s also helped keep them warm. Really great to help them heal and its been lasting a lot longer than the cone would have.

Helpful Cat Recovery Suit, but Not Escape-Proof
We got this Breathable Cat Recovery Suit for our kitten before his surgery. The Cat Surgery Pajamas with Sleeves are designed to prevent licking of abdominal wounds. While they seemed to do their job, our clever kitten managed to wiggle out of them on his own! They might work better for less determined escape artists.

Very Good!
This is a fantastic little garment for cats (or small dogs like my Yorkie) that have had surgical procedures on their abdomen. Be sure to purchase the correct size so that it fits the entire length of their trunk (torso); this way they cannot get to the wound. The Velcro straps adjust the garment snugly so your fur baby cannot slip out of it. The quality is good; the material is quite soft. Iâm sure this is much more comfortable than the cone of shame! You could even use it just to keep your little one warm. Recommend!

Order a size down
This could be an excellent product. It is made of really nice material, it takes into consideration how a cat moves and functions, and it is pretty easy to put a non-combative cat into. However, the sizing chart is way off. My cat measured as a “large”, which I know she is not, but I trusted the process. The cat shirt is too big on her and she can get out of it, which makes it much less functional. It has some good stretch to it, so I would go a size or two lower when ordering. It doesn’t come with any instructions, so it will take some time to figure out how to put it on. Once you get it though, it’s pretty easy.

Hmmm, probably better for a dog considering the sleeves
Not working too good for my cat. Got it for my big boy as I may have to go with a Libre Freestyle for his diabetes. He’s a little uptight so I tried it on my floppy cat that lets me do anything to her. I like that it was pretty easy to put on, it’s very nice and soft and stretchy. She wouldn’t walk in it though, just crouched down on the floor (still purring though). I think the only trouble was with the sleeves, cat’s need that elongated sleeve hole, I can see that this would work better with a dog. However, I think I got just a tad too big of a size, it’s possible if this fit a little snugger, it would be a lot better for the cat’s mobility

I am pleased with this cat recovery suit it stretches better than the last one i bought . Very easy to put on my cat and easy to fix. This has good materials and functionality. Lightweight very cute and water resistance too so she can wear it outside.
