Sheâs Perfect
So when she arrived in the mail, she was already completely pink as if she was put in hot water. I thought she was going to stay that way, but after her being inside my house for a half hour or so, she returned to her standard colors. The Texas heat mustâve gotten to her (I canât blame her). That being said, I love her, sheâs cute, she works as she should and Iâve had no issue with her holding water! 10/10 love the mermaid pony.

Bought this for my daughter’s 4th birthday and she loves it! I didn’t even tell her it changes colors until we had it for a few weeks and then she was amazed and loved it even more. It’s a great quality toy… Good size for a kid to carry around and play with. The hair, hooves and special pictures all change color in water very easily. Great purchase!

My Daughter Loves It
My three year old loves unicorns and playing in the tub. She specifically asked for Luna for Christmas. The colors change in warm-hot water, just as advertised. The hair changes back fairly quickly, while it took hours for the moon and stars on her side to fully return to their purple color. Sheâs a pretty and cute unicorn and my daughter has been playing with her a lot out of the tub too. She loves it! A little pricey, but itâs Breyer. I would recommend this.

Defective hair
3* because it didn’t work as advertised. Our Luna’s body changed color but not her hair. If we’d not expected this feature, I’d give it 4*. This was what our son wanted for Christmas from Santa and it met all the marks! It’s durable. I’m already noticing some inconsistency in the hooves changing color and not returning fully back to the original color. The long tail hair also is very thin, stretched out quickly and tangles easily. Still a win.

The water has to be quite hot to change the colour of the mane which is rather too warm for a toddler to bath in, which was disappointing. The other colour changing happens at a reasonable temperature.

I was offered a replacement as the first unicorn sent to me did not colour change. When the replacement came, I immediately tested it and found it too did not colour change.Very disappointing!! Do not get for a gift or you might be very embarrassed when it does not work and the child who was waiting for it could end up being upset. This is quite a pricey toy as well, given what it is made of. Shouldn’t have been that hard for the manufacturer to ensure they at least delivered on their USP??
