Great for Syrian hamster sand bath
Our syrian hamster loves this thing. We see him dig around in it everyday. We have the large size and it’s the perfect size. It’s nice because it’s enclosed so it prevents the sand from getting all over the place. Works well!

A lot cleaner than a dish for sand
I was using a glass food storage container as a sandbath for my Hammy and I got tired of her constantly kicking sand out into her cage. Thought I’d give this a try since it has a lid and it’s wonderful! She’s a Syrian and the large is large enough for her to fit comfortably. I’m taking one star off because I wish they put some air holes in the lid for better ventilation. The lid fits pretty tight and the only hole is the entrance. I can see my Hammy trying to sleep in it and I’m concerned about it getting too hot in there. Other than that it’s great and the cleaning shovel is cute, haven’t used it yet but seems like it’ll be useful so I don’t have to throw the whole container of sand out everyday.

Happy Lil Dude
This is perfect. I didn’t want a hamster and I wouldn’t have got myself one, but when someone couldn’t care for their’s anymore I stepped up out of fear as to what would happen to him. His name is Lil Dude. I’m improving his habitat little by little. I went ahead and bought the large sand bath since he’s a Syrian. He fits in it okay but I think he would like an even larger one. He immediately hopped it and was like I like this! This is pretty cool! I wish I could get better pics and video but as soon as I walk up to his cage he focuses on me and not being cute playing in his sand bath.

Super sturdy container.The lid fits snugly.Like others mentioned,we also had to file down a small pc in the door,didn’t take much effort- but maybe double ck quality control.Definitely worth price. But our Hamster does not spend time in it at least while we are watching. A quick dig around & out he comes. Does not potty in it.I agree that the slotted spoon needs to be a little longer.We bought the large for our Teddy Bear- perfect size.

Hammy Loves it but gets scratched by the sand
This was really cute but the sand would scratch the plastic more and more everytime I cleaned it out. Itâs easy to assemble and my hamster did use it so Iâll give points for that.

Ich habe dieses Sandbad für meine Rennmäuse gekauft. Diese nutzen es gerne und ausgiebig. Sicherlich wird auch ein wenig Sand ausgebuddelt aber die Preis/Leistung ist hervorragend. Dadurch das man die Schale auseinander nehmen kann ist sie auch leicht zu reinigen. Ich kann sie empfehlen,
