Bully Black Bull Aluminum Side Step ensures safe and convenient entry and exit into a truck or SUV. It is a practical and budget friendly upgrade for vehicles. For most truck and SUV owners, adding a side step is often their first modification for their truck and/or SUV. The side step is constructed from single-piece aluminum cast which is corrosion resistant, hence prolonging the life span and durability of the side steps. The frame is lightweight yet durable and does not add unnecessary load to the vehicle. It has matte finish that creates a universal appeal and provides a non-slip stepping surface. Textured and extra deep, this step can be attached to a wide range of sports trucks and SUVs by Chevrolet, Dodge RAM, Ford, GMC and Toyota.
Supreme Support – Made from cast aluminum for superior strength with no welded seams and a 350 lb. weight limit to provide maximum strength
Rugged Sophistication – Cast from one-piece of chrome plated aluminum, Bully steps provide easy, safe access to your cab even in extreme conditions. The extra-deep step is rated to 350 lbs.
Universal Fit For Most Vehicles – If you could use a boost into your cab, this Bully step adds a lot of elegant form to the function and is designed to fit most trucks and SUVs
Customizable – Lightweight aluminum is durable and paintable
Comes in Pairs – You will receive two pieces for your Trucks and SUVs. All Mounting Hardware and DIY Instruction Included. Reliable non-slip step area

Great quality
Fine fit and finish. Just the thing for my wife and I to mount my 21 Ram 4WD with 2 inch lift. Excellent value and design for the price. Easy to install in your garage and driveway. Plenty of mount hardware included.

Pretty solid steps but they come with some complications.
I purchased these for my 2018 Chevy Silverado K1500 Custom. They came in good shape and on time. They look smooth and had zero chips in the powder coat.I just put on the two driver side ones today. They are not as easy of an install as one may think. I used the D instructions.Like other said, you will have to buy some hardware. I purchased the following for my two sets:Self tapping sheet metal screws x 81 1/4″ – 3/8″ Grade 8 bolts and nuts x 83/8″ – Grade 8 lock washers x 163/8″ metal drill bit x 11/8″ metal drill bit x 1The 3/8th nuts were too large for the step bolt holes so I had to first redrill out the mounting holes on all of the steps.I then took a piece of cardboard to make a template for the bolt holes using the new holes in the steps.I put the carboard under the truck and marked my holes with a sharpie. I then drilled pilot holes using the 1/8″ drill bit going in at an angle from the outside of the truck into the center. Then I drilled out the holes with the 3/8″ bit. Popped a washer on each bolt and stuck them through and mounted the step. I then popped on another washer and the nut and tightened them down. For the tapping screws, the front step connected right in but the back steps require using the black plastic shims to fill the gaps. Without the shims you won’t be able to tap the metal and this creates filled space so the step doesn’t move when stepped on. I may go back and try to ahim the front ones as well, we’ll see later on.They go on in about 30 minutes for two without problems.Tips:1: If you don’t drill in at an angle you’ll have a hell of a time getting the bolts in just right.2: Use the shims to fill gaps for the tap screws.3: Have someone else watching while to draw on the holes to drill to make sure the steps are in a logical location.All-in-all I think these steps look sweet and they are super functional and hold my 6’0 280# body just fine.In regards to the chipping. I got some 400 grit sandpaper, some adhesion spray, primer spray and an enamel black spray paint to fix them if they start to chip like others say. I’ll post back here when/if that happens. Today (7/23/22) is the first day having them on.

Bully steps
Excellent product. Very heavy duty. Fairly easy to install if you are mechanical. Kit comes with every thing you will ever need, was a universal kit so there were a ton of extra parts, you are lacking for nothing in the way of hardware needed to install these. They look great on my 2001 dodge ram. Very sturdy. Love these.

Item is NOT universal
Ordered this set of steps for my lifted 2000 Chevrolet Astro van based on the description “Universal for a variety of Chevy, Chevrolet”. When received it became obvious that it would not work for the van. I tired to return to Amazon who said I had to return to the manufacturer. I emailed BULLY twice and got no response. I called and spoke a man named Lewis who described himself as the “Director” who verified that the steps would not work for my van and they could not take the item back because I bought it from a third party Amazon supplier. The “director” also said the steps are “vehicle specific” even though the description say “universal” and it was basically my problem for not checking to make sure it would fit my specific vehicle. Be careful purchasing BULLY steps as they are definitely NOT universal and I could not find any list of specific compatible vehicles/years in the product description nor did the “director” offer one. He told me that I have to deal with Amazon and that BULLY would not take the product back or refund my money. I asked him if he would send me documentation stating as much so I could present that to Amazon and he said after dancing around the request “we cannot do that because it was your mistake” HORRIBLE customer service based on my first and last experience with BULLY! I hope this is an isolated case however before buying any BULLY step I highly recommend calling “Lewis” at BULLY and demand a list of specific compatible vehicles and years don’t make the same mistake that I did assuming that this product is universal.

No templates, Hardware Does not fit. Had to buy my own hardware
All aluminum, very light construction. Seems decently strong, but it aint steel.I had to buy all my own hardware, as the supplied hardware did not fit. Bolts were too long to even mount them. Also, its very annoying to have to make my own template on where to drill holes.

Love the size of these
I had a little trouble with the delivery through Amazon but they made it right eventually. I really like these. I have a 4.5 inch lift on my dually so it was a bit challenging for the shorter folks in my family to get in. These are the perfect drop and the foot pad is wide and very nonslip. I would highly recommend these. They also installed super easy if you have any skills at all. Took me about 10 minutes per side probably.

Muy buena calidad en el producto, lamentablemente no coincide con la configuración de mi vehÃculo

Steps themselves are nice quality and seem sturdy enough. They look good and that’s about it. The hardware to mount them are garbage and not even long enough for certain applications.

You are going to need a good drill and are better off getting some self tappers and drill bits to make your pilot holes the bolts and screws given were not of great quality but the price reflects that. The steps themselves are solid and instructions were good. Would buy again
