Cardinals really like it
Kept the sparrows off the feeder for almost 2 weeks. Now they’ve decided that it’s better than nothing:)

Taking care of wildlife
It’s a very good price to take care of our birds of the air

The birds seemed to like it
The neighborhood birds definitely seemed to like this. However, I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily better for attracting cardinals. There didn’t seem to be a difference in the number of cardinals visiting the feeder with this and any other bird seed.

Looks Good But Birds Aren’t Eating It
I love waste-free bird feeds as the ground is less messy after they eat. But, I filled my front platform feeder a week ago and the birds have barely touched it. They don’t seem to like it compared to the similar waste-free mix I purchase locally. I don’t know what they don’t like, but we even had a squirrel come up to that platform feeder and the squirrel walked away, too. I can only give a three-star rating as something about the food isn’t winning our bird feeder friends over.

My birds love this mix!
This birdseed mix is pretty great, my cardinals love it. The sunflower hearts and safflower seeds are a big hit. No messy shells to clean up either, which is a bonus. The birds seem much happier with this blend compared to the old stuff I was using. It seems to attract a good variety of birds too, not just cardinals. Five pounds lasts a decent amount of time, so it’s pretty economical. I’d definitely recommend this mix if you’re looking for a good quality, no-mess birdseed.

Excellent Value! The Birds Around Me Went Bonkers For This When I Put It Out! So Fun.
As a person that doesn’t have a lot of experience with birds but loves putting food out for them and watching them as they gather ’round, I’m extremely happy with Cardinal Blend Bird Food. I have one feeder in my yard with a camera and a second feeder that fits in my windowsill and they enter into it to get the seed, and they love this stuff! I’ve only been feeding and watching them consistently for a couple of years, so it’s still a lot of fun for me to pull out my bird book and figure out what type of birds are bickering out there. :)One thing I’ll note is that the bag does not have a zip seal on it.The birds are very happy with this mix of sunflower hearts/kernels and safflower seeds, and I’m very happy with the excellent value.

The cardinals liked the safflower and the other birds ate the sunflower seed.
This seed mix includes safflower, which from my experience, cardinals are about the only birds that seem to enjoy. A lot of people will cut all seed except safflower to try to deter blackbirds, but this mix has both, so it won’t accomplish that. Most of the other birds picked out the sunflower seeds and left the safflower behind. The seed mix seems to be quality and the birds happily ate it, as you can see in the video.
