all equipment needed. the weighted base is unobtrusive and keeps it in place. requires less air pressure than conventional air stones and more, even, bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.

A nice “weighted” air stone that presents well once you get past the acclimating process
This is a solid (pun intended) nano stone. I like the fact it’s weighted and definitely stays in place. I replaced the ribbon/tune kind that I could never keep in place in my tank. This stone doesn’t move. Different sizes available and perhaps large isn’t better. I have the 4″ in a 70G and it’s a BIG stone. It can be buried or hidden and definitely presents a “wall” of nano air. I also love that it ships with back flow protector and shut off valve. Kind of nice bonus. No tubing but ok. The only real “issue” if you call it that was getting the stone acclimated to produce the nice bubble flow. They tell you to soak it which I did but still found it takes a few days to really get going and produce a steady and consistent flow. If you are not happy out of the box all I can say is give it a couple days before.

Best air stone I have found so far
I was surprised at the quality of this air stone! Itâs fairly heavy so it floating to the top will not happen. The bubbles flow out evenly. Packaging did include two suction cups to hold the hose line and a couple of different dividers and a converter if you have larger tubing. Out of the few air stones I have used, this just might be my favorite. If reading directions are your thing, the directions were very clear to understand.

Nice and heavy, and wonderfully tiny diffuse bubbles!
This bubble blows away the previous version in our shrimp breeding tank. Our previous one needed to be anchored with several pieces of slate; this one stays in place quite comfortably with just a nub over it to make sure. The bubbles it releases are also much smaller than the cheap one we got at the aquarium shop. This will be staying in the shrimp tank for a long time to come!

which at this price should definitely be included. This is a very nice air stone that produces. quite a bit of air infusion, so could easily earned 5 stars if they would have included the tubing. Tubing isn’t all that expensive, which is all the more reason they should have included it. Nothing is more aggravating than needing to use a product and it arrives without a part it needs to be able to use it.To be fair they do tell you that up front. And because I actually read the description beforehand I was prepared and had the tubing ready and waiting. However, as stated, for the price of the stone it should have been included. Also I’m thinking about a new user who ordered the stone and either missed the part about tubing not being included, or forgot to go out and get some or order some ahead of time.To me little things mean a lot and details matter. Of course the pump isn’t included, that makes sense when buying an air stone. But not including the tubing? Big mistake on the sellers part.But getting back to the stone, it is definitely a good stone that does produce enough air to keep your fish happy and healthy. Even without the tubing I would buy another one when needed. However I’d still be aggravated they don’t include the tubing if they haven’t changed their policy by that time. Maybe if enough people complain about the lack of tubing the seller might decide they should include it.
