It has lots more uses than as a birthing box
I know this is being sold as a cat birthing box. I have no intention of putting to that use. I opted to get it to see if I can use it as a shower base when camping in my van, to use along with a shower curtain hung from the ceiling. With a waterproof bottom and sides, it should do very well, at a fraction of the cost of commercial shower bottoms. My pics show it as it comes, all folded up neatly and in a plastic bag. It opens easily, and for scale, my floor tiles are 13″ square. I’ve included pics of the inside and outside of the drain plug. It looks like an odd size, so I’m not sure how easily one can attach a hose, but it should be easy to drain it through that plug. Lastly, I wanted to see how easily it folds up and goes back to original size. Easy peasy, as is shown in my last picture. So if you want a whelping box, I guess this would be fine, but for a small inexpensive portable lightweight camping shower base, I think this is a real winner.

Good Size for Crafting Purposes
Honestly, Iâve been looking for a decent size small pool for felting projects. When I saw this, it was a decent price and looked like a good size.Felting involves manipulating layers of wool fiber together in order to get them to entangle and become a permanent structure â like felted hats. My small rugs are really too heavy to wash in my washing machine, so I work them up in a small pool.This little pool is a gem for this! It folds, itâs sturdy, itâs an ideal size, itâs well made and the price is good.

Whelping box
I got this to be used a whelping box for cats. However, what I received is a little doggie pool. There is no soft grey pad that is advertised in the picture. The bottom is made of thin vinyl so it will not withstand cat’s claws – I don’t understand why this would be advertised as a cat bathing pool! The sides are also covered in vinyl, so as the kittens try to crawl out, they will shred it with their sharp claws.It will work as a whelping box for a short time – it will keep the kittens in until they can crawl out while the mom can easily get in and out.

EDIT: changed from 3 stars to 5 as my 3 yr old absolutely LOVES playing with it, we filled it up with water and he canât get enough of it. The drain on the side makes it easy to drain the water and way better than a kiddie pool. Even with 2 scratch holes in the bottom it holds water without leaking out. Perfect substitution for those huge heavy annoying plastic kiddie poolsOriginal:Smaller than i expected it to be considering its a welping box for cats but since i was using it to bring in leaves from outside for my indoor cats its the perfect size.

Would be better with inside weight such as water
I did not purchase this for pets, I purchased to eliminate paint from spreading during my projects. It does work well for this. I did use some painters tape to reinforce a few spots to keep it standing. I also lined it with cut to size disposable table cloth to keep it a bit cleaner for folding back up. I personally think this kind of foldable pool does better with the weight of water holding it open. I wanted the convenience of being able to fold it up after my project but maybe I will try a blow up pool next.

It’s made of good durable plastic that feels able to withstand punctures within reason, due to the substantial plastic material cleaning will be a cinch, has a reinforced bottom, it’s leak proof, the walls are about 8in tall or so, it’s diameter is roughly 2.5 or 3 ft and the bonus…. Appears it can double as a doggy pool, there’s a screw on plug on the outside. Two thumbs up

Collapses Easy
I got this box so my cats could chase around their round toys without losing them under the couch. So far, the box does a good job of keeping the toys inside, however, because my cats are rolling around in there I’ve noticed that the box’s sides aren’t exactly great at holding the shape of the box open. I like that this seems to basically be a foldable kiddie pool for pets, I just wish the top would stay rigid once I set it up so it would retain its round shape for the cats to play around in.
