Effective Anti-Licking: Unlike cat donut cones, the cone-shaped design effectively prevents cats from licking, biting, or scratching wounds. Perfect for post-surgery recovery, injuries, skin conditions, or during grooming and bathing sessions.
Normal Eating and Drinking: Made from soft, foldable mesh material, our cat neck cone allows your cat to eat, drink, and play without any discomfort.
Upgraded Design: A layer of soft, waterproof fabric is added to the mesh material, preventing water from wetting your cat’s neck while drinking, keeping it clean and comfortable.
Lightweight and Comfortable: Unlike plastic Elizabethan collars, this recovery cone is lightweight and features a soft padded layer, ensuring maximum comfort for your cat and reducing anxiety during recovery.
Warm Reminder: It’s normal for cats to resist wearing the cone initially, especially if it’s their first time. Please be patient and guide your cat to adapt to the cat cone, supporting them through their recovery period.

Cat can still see out the sides, it is breathable, it dries quickly and it isn’t hard plastic.
This is the perfect cat collar. My cat has been attacking his tail and has a huge cut on the tip of his tail. The vet recommended 2 weeks in a collar to get the tail healed and then a recheck. She sent him home in a hard plastic collar, which he (and I) hated. I tried the two collars I already had: a donut (legit looks like a donut) and a soft fabric Elizabeth-ish collar… Both are great, but if he got too hyper (spinning in cycles), he could get to his tail.Come along this collar. It is perfect for the tail chaser. He can still see out the sides, it is breathable, it dries quickly, and it isn’t the hard plastic that impedes sleep, etc.

Stops the licking/seems more comfortable than plastic one
Ashâs neck measured a little over 10 inches so I got the large as it is the recommended size. The fit was perfect. It is difficult to eat or drink with it on but I think that is with any cone but it wasnât impossible. I would just remove it so it was easier for him as he has one of those dishes that helps slow down eating so the food needs to be flush with the bowl- anyways I was able to remove it so he didnât have to get used to working around it. As with any cone I would assume as they donât have any peripheral vision – He did get stuck quite often which was a bit comical at times but could be dangerous if your pet is left alone depending the circumstances/what they get stuck on etc (he still likes playing and would get stuck inside a box) Ash would just meow until someone came to his rescue. He wouldnât try and get himself unstuck or if he got caught in a doorway or something was in his way he would act helpless and just meow to have someone move whatever was in his way or move him personally. I donât think this is any fault of the cone but him not knowing what was going on and not being used to it as well as being âbabiedâ by me. He only needed it for a couple days mostly when I was asleep so it wasnât long enough for him to adjust to having it on. He did also get the cone very wet when he drank water another reason I would just remove it anytime he wanted to eat or drink but it didnât get him wet.You attach the cone by the very large velcro âstripâ/area and then it has an adjustable âchordâ as is very easy to adjust as well as itâs easy to put on even though Ash wasnât a fan of having it put on. Undoing the Velcro is kind of loud so I worried about it hurting his ears since itâs right next to them but it didnât ever seem to bother him.You might be wondering why I gave this 5 stars even though it seems like I âcomplainedâ about it but itâs a cone- letâs face it- they arenât supposed to be fun and as with any cone they take some adjusting especially since it completely takes away their peripheral vision but itâs a mesh material and has a padding piece around the neck as well as itâs easily wipeable so between a plastic cone or this one I would definitely recommend this one as it just seems more comfortable (as comfortable as it can be that is) and it served its purpose as Ash wasnât able to lick his stitches from getting neutered. Overall I would recommend this come over a plastic one.As a member of the vine reviewer program I received selected items at no charge (but it is non taxed income at the end of the year) in exchange for a fair, unbiased, and honest review. I hope this review, video, and or pictures are helpful. Have a great day!

Best of the cones we used
I’m torn about this, because of the three different collars I bought, this one worked AND was the least invasive on my cat’s ability to eat, drink, move. It looked more comfortable than the others and he wasn’t able to get out of it.That said, if you use auto water bowl with a spout, then expect the cat’s neck to get drenched. When using his regular water bowl, my cat had issues. Ate and drank fine. But we use a fountain water bowl for the dogs that he likes to use and it has a spout. He’d shove his entire head in the water stream and it would pour down the cone and soak his neck. Not ideal, had to keep changing it out so both him and the cone could dry properly.Otherwise, though, this kept him from licking himself just as expected.I didn’t knock off a star for this, because these cones are typically only needed short term, but even in just the recommended 14 day recovery time from the vet, he started to wear a bit on the sides. There were holes starting to form and tears. Not enough to pose an issue, but if your pet needs it for any longer than four weeks or is aggressive with the cone (our cat didn’t fit or mind the cone once on so he didn’t claw or pull at it) then might not hold up.

Good and not so good parts…
I ordered the smallest size that I could for or female cat, who is fluffy but has a small head. Her head was lost in the cone, she was having a fit because she couldn’t see past the pink cloth part. The cone fit adjustablity wise, but the soft cloth was too big and made her panic too much. Think that there should be an extra small size made for petite smaller head cats.

A hard pass…
There is absolutely no way in all heck that I would put this on my cat’s neck. It came hard-folded, and you cannot get the kinks out of it. Good luck eating food or drinking water, kitty! This is deadly (see pics). That cord? That’s going to get stuck on something! Cats love getting into odd, tight spaces. That cord will get caught into something and then, goodbye kitty! The only saving grace (hence why 2 stars) is the netting on it is soft and smooth. I tried to simulate claws on it with an ingrown toenail clipper. It didn’t scratch through.Yes, the vets recommended cones like these and give them out because of the soft mesh instead of hard plastic, with the soft collar around it. But they do NOT give ones out ones with that cord on it.If you want to risk it, that’s on you. For me, hard pass and a hard no!
