Simple to install
I was surprised how simple this installation was. It even comes with a paper with the dimensions marked out so you can use it to be sure you have it correct. It’s very sturdy and it only took my cats a couple of days to figure out how to use it. I like that it also has slider locks so you can lock it one way or both ways to be sure your cat can’t get out unless you want it to. (Or that no other critters come sneaking in at night!) I’m very happy with my purchase.

works great on feral cat cooler house
I installed this on a 38-quart Igloo cooler for an outside cat and babies to use in winter. (added a plug-in low heat pad that activated when they are on it). I noticed I could have straightened the cut more on the bottom part of the door. As a result, I think it causes it to stick on the bottom without more pressure. I should have removed it and sanded the bottom underneath and reinstalled. I had already caulked and filled the cracks with foam before I realized it. Installing it on a solid door or wall would be easier.

Easy to install, but the slide locks don’t stay put
My cat locked herself out of the house by brushing up against the slide locks. I’ll be super-gluing that sucker so that she’s not stuck out in the dead of winter as she was recently.

Cat door was perfect and easy to install. Of course you have to cut out the door frame but once thatâs done, itâs easy as 123. My cats love it! Door swings both ways and itâs easy for them to run through.
