Comfortable and Effective: The Best Post-Surgery Onesie for Cats!
I bought this recovery suit for my 6-month-old kitten after her spay procedure, and it was a game-changer! She hated the cone, so I decided to try this onesie instead, and it was the perfect solution. It kept her from licking the wound, allowing it to heal properly. The fabric is soft to the touch and stretchy, so she felt comfortable wearing it all the time. The velcro closure and adjustable string around the neck made it easy to fit her perfectly. I was so impressed that I bought another color to keep her clean and comfortable while washing the first one. This is a must-have for any cat parent dealing with post-surgery recovery. Highly recommended!

Excellent!
This was the best purchase after our kitties spay! It’s silky, doesn’t irritate, fits to sizing chart, easy to care for, it’s adorable! She slept so well in it, was so much more comfortable than her E collar, could eat easy and use the potty normally! The velcro was comfortable not too rough…. the only complaint would be because it has stretch to it (which is a good thing) my cat on day five of wearing it found a way to get it off! We had to order a second set 🙂

Effective but Tricky Sizing: My Experience with the Camouflage Cat Recovery Suit for My 9lb Torty
I recently purchased the camouflage cat recovery suit from Amazon to address my catâs excessive licking and hair-pulling issues, particularly around her butt and flanks. Hereâs my detailed review:Size and Fit:I initially bought a medium size, but it seemed too tight for my cat. Switching to a large size, I found it too loose as she could easily escape from it. Ultimately, I reverted to the medium size, which fits snugly and effectively keeps her from licking. The sizing can be tricky, so be prepared for some trial and error.Effectiveness:The suit has been effective in preventing my cat from licking and further irritating her skin. This alone makes it a worthwhile purchase, as it helps with her healing process.Comfort:While the suit works well in terms of functionality, my cat appears less inclined to move around in it and prefers to lay down most of the time. This behavior makes me a bit concerned about her comfort and mobility. However, she is gradually adapting, and the most important thing is that she is not able to lick her irritated areas.Overall:Despite the initial challenges with sizing and my catâs limited movement, the suit effectively prevents her from licking and causing further harm. It may take some time for your cat to get used to it, but itâs a good solution for managing excessive licking and promoting healing.

Fits comfy and easy to put on
Super easy to put on, cats werenât too upset about it, fits pretty well. Fabric is thin but stretches nicely. Suit from the vet (for $30!) is thicker and zippers, catches my catâs fur; the Velcro on this model is easy to use and strong. Make sure you check the size, I highly recommend it!

Comfortable and Practical for Recovery
This recovery suit is a lifesaver for post-surgery care. The material is soft and breathable, ensuring my cat stays comfortable during the healing process. The snaps make it easy to put on and take off, and it stays in place without restricting movement. My only critique is that the sizing runs slightly large, so be sure to measure your pet carefully. Other than that, itâs a great alternative to the traditional cone!

Works well
I purchased these for my cat to wear after her surgery to prevent her from disturbing her stitches. The material is thin and breathable, which is great for my long-haired Ragdoll. I ordered a medium, and it fits my 8-pound cat well. At first, she wasnât sure how to move in itâflopping around and refusing to walkâbut after about an hour, she adjusted and now moves around normally. The Velcro closure makes it easy to put on and take off, and it stays secure without any issues. Overall, itâs been a great solution for her recovery!

Best Surgery Suit for Cats
This surgery suit is amazing! We got one at Petco and it was terrible (our cat hated it and was able to get out of it multiple times…we also had to roll it up so she could use the litter box). We had low hopes for this one, but not only does out cat love it, it’s super soft, well made, and she can easily use the bathroom with it onThere’s no way she can escape it (not that she’s tried very hard because she really doesn’t mind having it on). If you’re cat has to have surgery, I highly recommend this product. For reference, we have a small 6 month kitten (4.9 pounds), and the small is almost too small. So the small is great for kittens under 6 months of age.
Love these cookies!! Packaging was horrible though. –
Amazing product for your cat after surgeries!
My cat got spayed and sheâs an over groomer. I needed something to stop her from licking the incision. I hate using cones, plus she literally takes them off if I even would try. This product is amazing. The medium fits well on her, sheâs 9.5 pounds and is almost 2 years old. Itâs cute, very stretchy, and breathable. You might need to be careful around the butt part, she would use the litter box and accidentally get poo on the bottom. Also, it covers a lot of the cat, so they wonât really be able to groom themselves. Anyways, very good for surgeries. I love it!

Our ultra-neurotic male cat needed extensive stomach surgery, so having a full body outfit like this was an absolute lifesaver when faced with the threat of an Elizabethan cone. This particular design has a long strip of velcro for closure, which is highly effective at keeping the suit on but was extremely loud to undo, freaking out our cat whenever we had to take it off. For our cat, I lined the inside of the suit with bandages and medical tape to soak up any oozing/blood, and because of the nature of his situation, this outfit needed to be [hand] laundered pretty much every other day (as we interchanged with another outfit).Inevitable laundering of this particular suit stretched it out quite dramatically, especially when compared to the other outfit we had. I think this outfit has too high of a % of spandex that eventually just would not retain its shape. As such, the outfit became dangerously easy for our cat to try to weasel out of, and he was eventually able to trap himself halfway out of the outfit’s head hole while we were asleep overnight. It was awful. The neck hole is the ultimate weakest link in this outfit, as it becomes very quickly overstretched with how much you will need to take the outfit on/off. Additionally, the little plastic adjustable ‘lock’ on the rope within the neck is supposed to keep the neck nice and snug doesn’t stay in place and will gradually slide back. Our cat is quite a large breed with probably a larger head, so I don’t think the ‘lock’ stood a chance against his broad shoulders and back.Ultimately, the outfit was great to begin with. It’s very soft – we called it his pajamas – and easy to launder. I would say if you have a selection of outfits you’re rotating between, then this will probably last much longer – but I would still ditch it as soon as it starts to get a bit too stretchy, just for safety’s sake!
