    So far, I love it!
In just two days, I have an entirely different dog. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this.I adopted a 4 month old silver lab 4 months ago. She’d had no training whatsoever and was wild. She learned commands quickly, but only listened during our training time. In real situations, she ignores me. She eats every single thing she can find and even though I watch her closely, she still managed to eat part of a plastic spoon, part of a plastic fork, sticks, part of a remote, pieces of plastic plants, etc. For safety reasons, I had to do something.I live alone and couldn’t even go to the bathroom for fear she’d get into something. We’ve had quite a few struggle sessions on the floor because she refused to give something up. I’m 62 years old, too old to tackle a 50 pound dog.She never sits, just walks around getting into things…the sink, things on the stove, etc. Again, safety risks. I’ve never even been able to pet her or hug her because she never stops moving. She has a bunch of toys which she ignores.Anyway, I used this collar on her yesterday for the first time on level 4. She stopped the bad behavior immediately. I used it three more times and suddenly, this dog is much, much calmer. She’s laying on the couch, I’m petting her and hugging her. She’s wagging her tail a lot and responding to the touch. She’s playing with her toys ONLY and leaving everything else alone. I used it twice today and I can now go to the bathroom without her getting into things. Before this, I had to crate her everytime I needed to do dishes, laundry, etc. As a result, she was in the crate far too much. After two days, She’s spending more time out of the crate. She seems happier and I’m much happier.I had a dog trainer tell me to stop using it. She said it’s inhumane. I made it clear this was not a shock collar. No, what was inhumane was the past four months. We’ve both been miserable. It’s not been pleasant at all and I was not enjoying her. I am now.I don’t know where this will go, but so far, it’s been a miracle.

    Long range. Great battery life!
I have had several of these types of collars. They all work. Or so I thought. THIS one REALLY helps my incredibly smart, but incredibly stubborn dog obey my commands.I have no idea why this one is more effective with him than all the others have been. They have all had the same functions and I have used them all the same way.It has a very long battery life. I have to charge it every 5-7 days instead of every 1-2 days like all the others. Also, the range is longer than any other one I have ever used. I was in the basement doing laundry and I heard my pup trying to jail-break the baby gate to get into the kitchen. I was able to hit the beeper and he quickly changed his mind. Because I can correct him when I am out of his line of sight, he’s behaving better when I’m out of the room too.He does have to wear it everyday. He can go about 8-12 hours without it before he gets stubborn again. In our case, this isn’t really a training aid. He’s well trained. He’s just a jerk. It’s really more of and uncomfortable enforcer of sorts. I still use my voice and/or body to issue commands and ensure compliance whether he is wearing the collar or not. But, the collar saves me time because he is much quicker to obey.

Finally! I can Train – and cause No Pain!
I’m really happy to have this training collar for my dog RJ. I have another one that I got a couple of years ago. He totally hates it, and I felt guilty using it because it would give him a mild shock and the prongs were pretty pointy going towards, or into his neck. Now, with the FASHILEAD Vibrating Dog Collar, he doesn’t mind having it on. To my surprise, he even got into his dog-cave and laid down, as dogs do, so he could keep an eye on me throughout the room. This means that he was resting his head basically directly on top of the collar unit, and he didn’t complain! The instructions say to not leave it on all day. I’m not sure what that is all about, but ok. I was going to try to get in the habit of taking it off when he’s inside, but we take our dogs out maybe 8 times a day, so forget thatThe size of the collar unit and the remote is reasonably small, and they are both lightweight. Each part is rechargeable, so no batteries are needed. My backyard is approximately ½ acre and square, I’ve had no problems with range yet. The vibrations are adjustable and at the higher levels it would definitely stop ME from doing whatever I’m doing. The vibrations get fairly intense, but again, its only vibration, so no harm, no foul. There’s also a sound mode, which may be useful for some situations, just not for my RJ when he’s intensely barking at the neighbors’ dogs or the farmers cows through the fence. One more thing, there is a light built into the collar unit, but its not very bright at all. With that said, it may be useful to keep an eye on your pups location on a dark night when it doesn’t take much light to be visible.Overall, I’m very glad I changed collars. Maybe I’ll actually use this more regularly, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll be able to help RJ improve his behavior.I hope this helps you in some little way, and I hope something Great happens for you today!
