Cats hate the noise.
The brush itself is good, and the price was reasonable. The mist function is unusable. It’s not the moisture… it’s the sound! It terrifies the cats.There are two main problems with the mist function: 1) When the mist button is pushed, there is a very quiet, high pitched sound that freaks the cats out and makes them explode and dash off. 2) The position of the mist button on the handle means it is hard to avoid triggering it by mistake (causing the cats to bolt.) The cats enjoy the brush untill the noise starts.Will be waiting till the battery runs down and using as a normal brush. The mist is very cool and gentle but the sound is a real detonation trigger!![Update] The seller contacted me with helpful suggestions. (ty)

Great for cats and small dogs
I took this right out of the box and started using it on my Yorkie mix. He is prone to mats and tangles and Iâm always trying to stay on top of it. I read reviews that mention the steam was cold so I tried to put some hot water in not hot enough to Warp the plastic but warm enough to make the steam less cool. I donât really think it worked, but Iâll keep tinkering to see how to increase the steam temperature.I havenât attempted to use it on my cat yet, but sheâs up next! A couple of reviews mentioned the history and honestly, I had to listen to it or for it rather to be able to hear it. If I remember to update this review after I used it on my cat, I will give some feedback on my feline friend. Overall, I think this is a worthwhile purchase for smaller animals that need frequent brushing. Also, I will note that the steam did not make any of Devontaè Griffin âs mathâs worse. Thatâs a plus!

I love this brush and most important my dogs love this brush. Itâs quiet & they canât wait to be the next in line. Easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to use. When cleaning donât push the plunger all the way out past the bristles.I love it has a handle, too. Yes I recommend it!

My cat is in love with this brush. He is an older kitty and the cool mist helps remove loose hair, helps prevent matting, and cleans his coat. Very easy to use and the push button makes it very easy to clean. I deducted one star because of the location of the control button. I’m constantly hitting it accidently while grooming, so it switches to high or turns off the mist altogether.
