Adorable and our hamster loves it!
The reviews on this were a mixed bag. I opted to take a chance on it. We used this for our Russian dwarf hamster. It is about the size I expected. Once it was put in our hamster stopped using his larger house and opted for it as his new place to sleep. I’m guessing he likes the small space.The water bottle doesn’t leak on its own. We have not had leaking issues unless it is caused by bedding touching the spout. We simply watch it and if some of it was moved we remove it.It’s fun too. Taking out the bottle alone out little hamster likes to look up out of the top of it when we go to cleaning his cage (of course this is before removing him.TL;DR Buy it! It’s super cute, works well, hamster loves it and just keep the bedding from the spout to prevent leaking.

Fabulous little house
He has plenty to choose from and this is what he likes to sleep in. Most of the time it keeps him well hidden even though he’s a big teddy bear hamster. It’s nice and snug and he loves it!

Leaks 100% Do not buy
I learned my lesson. Please dont spend your money on cute stuff. It completely leaked out in less than an hour. I requested a replacement, that leaks out too. They wrote me and were no help, now I’m stuck with 2 crappy leaking bottles. Thanks!! ..not.

Itâs cute but
Itâs a cute bottle holder, but my gerbils can easily push it out and bury it in their bedding. It can sometimes be a little tricky putting the bottle in and out.

The water bottle I was looking for
I was having issues finding a water bottle that would work for my hamster. I wanted one that fit into a base and not need hung. This one goes into the “cactus” base and has two different levels for it to come out. I like that. It gives options depending on your set up. The water bottle itself isn’t that large, but that isn’t an issue as I clean and refill mine frequently. My hamster is too big to fit all of the way into the hide at the base, but that isn’t what I wanted it for anyway. My hamster has managed to tip this over once, but I have had it in his cage for days now and only one tip over. Worth the price for sure.
